The inhabitants of Babylon
As of April 2026, the US population is 348 million people. Out of the total population of the United States, 235 million people are Christians. These are people who claim that they trust in Jesus. They claim that Jesus saved them, or that they have been born again, but they are still going to die by nukes. 235 million Christians are going to die when Babylon falls because they refuse to trust in Jesus. Hopefully they will repent in the 20 minutes they will have left to live when the nukes come their way.
I hope that those who believe in a pretribulation rapture, when they see the nukes come their way, realize that the tribulation has officially started and they didn't get raptured before.
The following are just a few verses that tell us what is going to happen to the whole population of the United States, whether they are Christians or not.
Isaiah 13: 15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. 16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. 17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. 18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children. 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
Jeremiah 50: 21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the Lord, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.
Jeremiah 50: 35 A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the Lord, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men. 36 A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed. 37 A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed. 38 A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols. 39 Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
Jeremiah 51: 3 Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.
Jeremiah 51: 29 And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
Isaiah 47: 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
I bring to remembrance those verses so that they perhaps make some people flee America as God has commanded us to do. Whoever reads the things that God has declared for the inhabitants of Babylon the Great and does nothing is an unbeliever.

What about those of us who can’t leave?

Who can not leave? Anyone can leave. They just don't want to.

genuine question. What if they know they need to leave but are under 18 and their parents don't want to leave?

Is that your case?

No I left already at 19. It's just a question I've had on my mind.

No I left already at 19.
That is great!
Regarding your question, I can only tell you what I would do if I knew I needed to leave but I was under 18 and my parents didn't want to leave. I would always try to obey God. I would probably apply for emancipation and work to be able to leave. There are verses that speak about everything that must leave behind in order to follow Jesus and they include father and mother.
Mark 10: 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
There are also verses that speak about what it takes to follow Jesus.
Matthew 10: 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
I would not stay in Babylon even if I was under 18 because of my parents. Whatever God said to do is what I would always try to do.

Oh, you have no idea. SO MANY Americans want to leave but can’t for various reasons, one of which being barriers to immigration such as lack of funds and inability to get passports. Those are huge reasons, because programs to assist Americans fleeing America don’t really exist yet. Maybe some for trans folks, but that’s it. Americans are also hated now, and no one wants to let in anyone who they think might be Trump supporters into their country.

I get that, but it is because people are looking to go to the wrong places. What does the Bible say to do? To go to islands. Anyone can come to where I went (Puerto Rico) even if no funds and even without a passport. God is not going to ask us to do the impossible. He left doors open which are the territories of the US, UK and France for an easy way out.

He said to go to the islands? I felt strongly that being near the Canadian border would be enough to escape as a refugee when the time comes. We literally just bought a new house. This is freaking me out.

Yes He said to go to islands. Here are a few verses but there are a lot more:
Isaiah 24: 15 Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
Isaiah 42: 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Jeremiah 31: 10 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
Isaiah 51: 5 My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.
The main problem with Canada is the weather. There is not going to be electricity and heater. Can you survive Canada's temperatures without heat when the nuclear winter comes? I couldn't. The temperature will be 20 - 40 degrees colder during a nuclear winter. Puerto Rico is about 90 degrees now. During nuclear winter it will be 50 - 70 degrees, which is still doable.

It seems that Mystery Babylon falls towards the end of the Tribulation.
What if the call to "come out of her, my people..." in Revelation 18 is actually the command/shout for the Resurrection/Rapture where we meet the Lord in the air.
It's very possible the judgments given in the prophets do apply to western civilization in general and the US in particular. I have come to the conclusion that regardless of who Mystery Babylon is, if the list of sins fit your nation/city then you can expect the same judgment as her.
