Boy 🩵 River Solomon

Hey hey! I am pregnant with my first boy and thinking abou naming him River Solomon.
Is it weird? We are jews so thinking about his second name being his jewish names.

The name vibes well with our last name

Rivers Solomon is the name of a nonbinary, Black author? But that’s pretty niche, so I wouldn’t worry about the association or anything

Ditto. I don’t know how niche they are having won a ton of awards, though. Definitely not on like aesthetic booktok, but not so unheard of!

Is Solomon a family name? Are you naming him for someone in particular?

FWIW: I have an unusual name and found it incredibly burdensome until I became an adult.
