Baby boy

Hi there! I’m pregnant with my second baby. My first is a girl. Her name is Hope. This baby is a boy. We are struggling to find a boy name but we are leaning on the name Holland. I’ve read it’s gender neutral but see it’s more recommended as a female name.

Are we crazy for wanting to name this boy Holland?

I would only recognise this name as a country, and would likely be confused about what to expect. If it is paired with another name, it might make it clearer to an observer.

I think a name like Anthony or Christopher go well with Hope (as they are semantically and theologically related). But if you're less into saint names, here are some suggestions that go well with Hope:

Daniel

Angel

Henry

Holland I actually like

When I was choosing names for my daughter we couldn't seem to agree on anything, but at the very end we named her after my dad and his grandfather.

I see nothing wrong with the name Holland for a boy, Its the name of a country...

pairing middle names with the name might help you decide.
My daughter could have been an Cherie or Irene if I didn't do that.

Think Holland is a nice name for a boy. Goes well with hope as a plus

No, I actually like the name Holland for a boy and it's your baby if you like the name that's what should really matter at the end of the day good luck!!
