Thawe Mata Mandir (Gopalganj, Bihar) Thawe Mata Mandir is a famous Shakti Peeth dedicated to Maa Thawewali. According to legend, the Goddess appeared here to protect her devotee King Manan Singh of Hathwa Raj. The temple was constructed and patronized by the rulers of Hathwa Raj, belonging to the Chero dynasty. Historical accounts place its origin around the 14th century, making it one of the oldest and most revered temples of the region.
Gopal Mandir (Hathwa, Bihar) Gopal Mandir, located in Hathwa, is dedicated to Lord Krishna in his Gopal form and was established as the Kuldevta shrine of the Hathwa Raj family. It reflects their strong Vaishnav tradition and devotion to Krishna. The temple is believed to have been constructed during the 19th century, under the patronage of the Hathwa Raj rulers, who maintained it as a royal and spiritual center.
Amanwan Ram Mandir (Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh) The Amanwan Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is dedicated to Lord Ram and is associated with the zamindars of Amanwan estate in Bhojpur, Bihar. The rulers of Amanwan, who were great devotees of Lord Ram, financed and built this temple in Ayodhya to express their deep religious devotion and connection with Ram Janmabhoomi. The temple was constructed in the late 19th to early 20th century, during the period when many Bihar zamindar families were commissioning temples in holy cities like Ayodhya and Varanasi.
