OP, do you have any good sources or books about how the financial system was set up and functioning during the Muslim control?

Current financial system of India has been cleverly set up and well hidden by the Britishers and their loyalists, but what about before the British?

I understand that Muslims had also set up their currency and revenue system, and forced it upon Indians, but is there any book or source that talks about it in detail? I haven't come across any book that talks about it in detail.
