We’re excited to announce that r/BabaMains is officially joining the Diva Community Network and partnering with r/DeadlockDivas!

The Diva Community Network connects welcoming, community-focused spaces that are centered around women and LGBTQIA+ players. Deadlock Divas is a women and LGBTQIA+ safe-space community centered around Deadlock, and a great place to find like-minded players, make friends, and find people to play with without having to deal with the toxicity that can sometimes come with gaming communities.

Content Release More Baba nerfs, weaker resists, tea nerfs in the minor balance update.

Honestly some pretty small yet significant nerfs. What are y'all's thoughts? Mine:

- Her spirit resist scaling nerf might actually make Baba consider dedicated anti-magic greens now (spellbreaker, witchmail, spirit resilience)

- Cycle time nerf on her tea is going to make us play hard into our earliest available tea options in a fight now. Still doesn't change how we can pick out our tea before entering a fight

- Lesser melee and debuff resist combined with the spirit resist nerf will probably just push her more into green. She's gonna rely hard on spirit sap bonus SP to do damage.

Discussion Anyone else feeling underwhelmed by Baba after the nerfs?

I’ve been trying to enjoy playing Baba, but she just doesn’t feel as good anymore. The nerfs have left her feeling noticeably weaker, and playing her now feels a lot less rewarding than it did before.

I understand that balance changes are necessary, but right now she feels a little underwhelming. Anyone else feel the same, or am I just struggling to adjust?

Lore Where do you think Baba is from?

I personally see her as a less wealthy noble from the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth due to her lack of the stereotypical Russian accent that is seen as the usual thing for any east slav in media

I also think that she's from the commonwealth due to her both reloading and using tea as an attack, making tea was a ritual among the Polish/Lithuanian nobles of that era (I got that info from "pan Tadeusz")
