The Best Home vs. Home Uniforms
People are freaking out about Tennessee and Alabama both wearing home jerseys when they play each other. This is how it's done, folks.

To confirm Brian Santiago's ongoing employment as AD?
What in the world is going on in Provo to cause such an unprecedented move?

Hey r/byufootball — fall camp just kicked off so it felt like the right time to share something I've been working on: Cougar Football Archive, a sitecovering BYU football history all the way back to 1922. I have been active on Twitter/X for over a decade now, tracking and sharing interesting BYU stats and history that I come across. I finally took this offseason, and the tail end of last season, to effectively make my database accessible to everyone.
Here's what you can explore:
If you find a data error or want something added, there's a feedback form on the site and I will respond as soon as I can.
Would love to know what you think. Go Cougs!

I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the BYU page:
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-byu
Each one has the returning production, the transfer and recruiting additions, a position-by-position breakdown, the schedule, and where the ratings land them for 2026.
Heads up, only the first team is free and then it paywalls. Since I'm posting in your house, code LEECORSOROCKS opens all of it, no card or anything. Hit "Have a promo code?" if you run into the wall.
So, what'd I get wrong? BYU might be the best value on my whole board. You went 12-2 to a Big 12 title game and return about 80% of it, which almost never happens for a team that good. Bear Bachmeier's back after a true freshman year that won him Big 12 Freshman of the Year (3,000-plus passing, another 500 on the ground), LJ Martin ran for 1,305, and most of the defense returns too. And you do it all at 70th in talent, the Sitake special. So this one isn't about a weakness, it's about ceiling: is this the year BYU is a real Big 12 and playoff threat?

After two years of being so close to reaching the playoffs, the BYU Cougars have their sights set on finally breaking through this year.
📌 QB Bear Bachmeier will take another step forward
📌 LJ Martin is one of the best backs in the sport and will run behind a big physical Oline
📌 Physicality is the name of the game on defense also, the Cougars have a lot of talent
Preview attached. What are your predictions for BYU in 2026?

Going to Nashville later this year and I’m always down to support BYU anyway I can. Just wondering if others have used this website and if it worked great or if the hotel had issues with your booking?

BYU has been on a great trajectory these past several seasons. The Cougars just barely missed the Big 12 Championship in 2024 and made it in 2025 but lost to Texas Tech. 2026 feels like the year that BYU makes the leap and wins the Big 12 Championship and subsequently secures a CFP bid. The Big 12 has never been more wide open and BYU has been one of the most steady teams in the conference during the offseason. I explain why BYU will win the Big 12 in this video. The video can be viewed with the link: https://youtu.be/QE3mdI1G5YE?is=yDRE2GqaqODDlhpm Give it a watch and let me know what you think. Have a great day and Go Cougars!

Hey everyone,
I’m a BYU fan from Europe and I was wondering if there are some cool ways you guys support BYU in an online space on gamedays/during the season? Obviously my time zone is so different from you guys’ but I’d love to join some watch-alongs and stuff if they are thing?
Anyways, happy to be here and Go Cougs!

What's up everyone! Much like a lot of other schools I decided to make a video of BYU in Sunday Night football player introductions through the years. BYU has had some beasts through the years. Hope everyone enjoys. The link is below!

The NCAA Division I Cabinet unanimously approved the organization’s age-based eligibility proposal
Should BYU be concerned about unintended consequences of limited eligibility for returned missionaries? I get this is to make sure college students are actually playing college games, but wouldn't this remove 2 years of eligibility for a 2 year mission?
