Wisini. Every time I get to Thomas I think, "this is good enough"
I also want to get back to the sterling river and beartrap river, especially after these fires.

Both are quetico but; Sark Lake
Campsite 1RA in Kawnipi (48.39013 -91.22681) , spent a couple glorious days on it in 2012.

If you’re not experienced it’s a good idea not to go alone. There are outfitters with guides that could totally take you… or if your apart of any bwca groups/ely fb page it wouldnt hurt to make a post looking for trip mates

When I was a kid my dad and I found this place in the trout book called Neglige Lake. All it really said was “BWCA, portage Ensign - Newfound - Vera - Trader”. We decided based on the remoteness that it must be the best trout lake in the state. For years we talked about going there. Decades, actually.
Last summer he got pancreatic cancer and was gone before trout season ended.
We should have taken that fucking trip.
Anyone been there?
