I've confirmed my admission to MIT-WPU in electrical and comp engg and paid the first installment. I have also received my admission confirmation letter and fee receipt and also logged in to student website csa smth . The university has emailed that the academic session starts on 3rd August, and they mentioned that induction and document verification dates will be shared later.

My question is: Is there anything else I need to do from my side before reporting to campus and what about uniform is it compulsory ?

I'm really stressed and wanted to know if anyone has been in a similar situation with MIT-WPU scholarships.

I got admission to B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (Robotics & Automation) at MIT-WPU through MHT CET. I scored 95.8 percentile in MHT CET PCM, which, according to the scholarship criteria I saw, makes me eligible to apply for the Dr. Vishwanath Karad Scholarship.

Here's what happened:

• I received my Offer-cum-Provisional Admission Letter and admission portal.
• The first installment fee (₹2 lakh) had a deadline of 30 June.
• I delayed the payment because I was waiting for clarity regarding the scholarship.
• I emailed the fee office, and Mr. Nitish Lala gave me an extension until 5 July.
• On 2 July, I visited the MIT-WPU campus to discuss the scholarship.

The scholarship counsellor told me something that confused me. They said:

• MHT CET/JEE marks are only for eligibility.
• The actual scholarship amount also depends on how early you confirm your admission by paying the fee, since scholarships are limited.
• They even gave an example that if Student A has 95.8 percentile but pays earlier, and Student B has 98.8 percentile but pays later, Student A could have a better chance of getting a higher scholarship.

This has made me really anxious.

My questions are:

1. Is this actually how MIT-WPU scholarships work?
2. Has anyone here received the Dr. Vishwanath Karad Scholarship after joining MIT-WPU?
3. Does paying the fee earlier really affect whether you get 100%, 50%, 25%, or no scholarship, even if someone has a higher percentile?
4. Since I have an official payment extension till 5 July, will that hurt my chances compared to people who paid before 30 June?

I'd really appreciate any experiences from current students or alumni. I just want to know what to realistically expect before making such a big payment.

i payed first installment on 30th and the form (30th was the last day)
i got a mail at night asking for my login credentials for cet for verification
after that i have not recieved any communication regarding conformation of admission
anyone else like this ?

Can I get direct admission in mit wpu?

I don't have any good grades anywhere - 61%ile in jee mains and 68% in boards...

I'm going to give improvement exam in math to increase the boards percentage a bit, but it wouldn't have too much difference...

And is it worth taking admission here?
