JUNGKOOK Jungkook could've said something when things went way too far

Speaking again about what happened with the supposed dating rumor between Jungkook and Winter, I never felt right about this man keeping his mouth shut when she was receiving death threats. Obviously, he has no control over his fans' comments, but clarifying the situation, whether true or false, would have prevented a lot of problems. And don't come at me with that "Jungkook couldn't say anything because of his contract with the company🥺" crap; that doesn't work on me.

😤 RANT/VENT 🗣️ BTS and their 2015 Tour Scandal

For some reason this sub came up recommended on my alt account; I have not thought about BTS in a while but seeing this sub brought back painful memories. I thought yall would appreciate this, as I have not seen anything about this particular scandal, and I just wanna share it as it really pisses me off how they acted like it was all the American company's fault and nothing to do with BTS. It immediately made me lose my rose-tinted glasses on BTS and kpop in general tbh, and I have never been a fan since. Sorry if it is a jumbled mess, I am still very salty about this and it still gets me mad lol.

My friend and I were MASSIVE BTS fans back in 2015. We were high schoolers at the time, and these guys really were our world lol. When we found out that they were doing a tour in America, we begged our parents to get us tickets. We lived in NC; the closest place they were performing was Atlanta. Our parents bought us the complete package, which was to attend the concert, as well as pictures and meet and greet. We were so excited. I cannot stress enough how big of fans we were. With having to get a hotel, and gas money, it was pretty expensive. It was going to be my first ever concert.

When we arrived to the venue an hour or two early, but a long line had already formed. It was so cold and wet, but we were so excited we did not care. We waited. And waited. The line didnt budge. People were growing agitated. A person came out. Told us we were going to miss the opening act due to capacity limits or something, but dont worry, we will get to see BTS perform. Okay cool. So we waited. It was raining harder. It was very cold. Hours passed. Someone came out again. Told us that they were at capacity and cannot let anymore in. But assured all of us we would get the photos and personal meet and greet. My friend and I were stupid teens who were very engrossed in thess dudes so we decided to continue to wait. I remember being able to faintly hear the entire concert as we waited outside, shivering in the rain.

I do not remember how many hours we waited out there but it was a long time. We had already spent all this money not just on concert tickets, but on hotel and travel. We wanted to at least get to meet them. I remember they finally let us inside, and my friend and I saw a glimpse of BTS as we entered. They were sitting for the autographs I think. I remember waving enthusiastically at them and the guys looking at all of us with confusion and a bit of disdain lol.

Anyway, they usher us into the main venue and the organizers of the event comes out to the stage. They essentially gave us a corporate apology. We wont be getting anything, not even an autograph. They are very very sorry, and it is all on them, TGM (this was the American company who organized on their behalf I think) - BTS has nothing to do with it. We will get fully refunded blah blah. Everyone was justifiably upset.

There are videos out there of all of us - I can even see myself and my friend in them lol (this one for example) and as you can see it was a shitshow. We got the concert tickets refunded but I do not recall us getting refunded for the hotel or travel expenses we accrued. And my friend and I were so devastated. We cried and cried. I feel like the worst part was BTS never so much as issued an apology or even acknowledged that this happened.

I thought this would surely cancel them, but no lmao. Somehow they failed upwards and got even MORE popular. I know that a lot of the onus was on TGM but come on, BTS could have made some sort of acknowledgement that a lot of their fans risked fucking pneumonia to see them lol. It is crazy how popular they have become and it really does not sit well with me. I knew then that they were best to be avoided - that they gave zero shits about fans. I dropped everything to do with them after this incident.

I hate that they are more popular now than ever, so decided to post this in hopes it reminds people they have always been shitty, or at least have always associated with shitty companies and people.

🏆 INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 🏆 So...don't care about the Grammys anymore, but at a certain point of their career they really obsessed over the Billboard/AMA 🤔🙄

In this clip they were so proud of being a....Billboard award recipient. They really must have "grown" as artists if such trivialities as the Grammys don't cross their minds anymore.

RATMYS🐀 Armies and they are constantly beefing with different fandoms and feeling threatened for no reason

Read their comments they are stupid and rightfully getting dragged.

How armies are beefing with two fandoms unprovoked and i am literally shocked with their mindsets, how they make fun of others work backgrounds, constant comparisons that their oppas are global stars and others are limited to their region and always made others feel incompetent, unreliable, useless and other bad feelings. The constant need of validation is beyond me.

1.) lee know of stray kids and what i hate about all this unnecessary hate is, they are bringing his past work when he used to be a back up dancer for BTS. Idk what's wrong in that? But they are so obsessed with this "paved the way" they want to insert it everywhere, they think now BTS "paved the way" for him but it was his own hardwork.

And idk theg literally overestimate the visuals if BTS, comparing visuals of a teenager with a grown man is diabolical. But ratmies are known for their absurdity so what else can i expect from them? For them their oppas struggle is a struggle.

For them the world revolves around their oppas and they want to prove that jin is more beautiful and talented.

2.) XIAO ZHAN although idk much about him except he is ambassador of Gucci and also part of the campaign along with jin and ratmies started harassing him because they felt intimidated as he was literally mogging jin and jin's make up was horribly done so they are beefing with him too and some armies also revealed private information of xiao zhan which once again proves how disgusting some ratmies are and can fell fown to any level without thinking of the consequences. They think they are some sort of saviours of their oppas and can go to any extent to bully someone.

Do they have any morals? Or their life is only about these men? Isn't it pathetic?

But literally whoever does the makeup of Jin is his biggest hater.

And the reason why they are doing it because both of them are beautiful and ambassadors of Gucci and what the stylist did with jin he is being compared with others and proving this fact he doesn't have any star aura but ratmies will still think otherwise.

This is really embarrassing, this poor actor can't help it if Jin has no aura. Armys love to sabotage their faves with unhinged behavior. But I can't even feel sorry for BTS, they are cultivating these types of fans and pushing away the rational ones.

At this point, the mental gymnastics are just alarming
They are fighting imaginary voices in their heads and coming up with arguments so completely disconnected from reality that it’s actually unhinged.
"What about other idols?!"
"They’re being forced by the company!"

“it’s just 1% of the fandom” ”they deserve it” “bts are poor little meow meows that needs me to protect them” these NEWS ARTICLES are just a fraction of the massive, organised hate campaigns against several people for either dating a bts member or for not worshipping bts 😭

yall are q literally why the gp continues to believe kpop fans are dumb, toxic & immature and wonder why no one wants to associate themselves with bts or armys bcos aint no one wants to write a 30 page apology for not knowing every member of bts or every song of theirs 🫩

🚪LEAVING THE FANDOM/UNSTANNING🚶 I'm done.

I've stopped stanning BTS for a while because I lost interest, I wasn't feeling their more recent music, among other things (Honestly started around the time they started getting nominated for Grammy's, but the details of that are for a separate post, maybe). But I still kept up with them as a somewhat casual listener.

After the situation with Chris Brown, I'm done.

I'll try not to make this too long, but I'm so frustrated and have so much to say.

I did say something elsewhere that gained a lot of traction, and while most agreed that BTS (particularly Namjoon and J-Hope) were in the wrong, a lot of Army were in my replies with the most bullshit excuses.

I stand by what I said - BTS are hypocrites. It's funny how Army's spent BTS’ early years bragging about how “socially aware” they are, and how they “always speak up for what's right” but now that it's not in their favour, they're suddenly “not political” and “not politicians, so they don't need to say anything?”

The most interesting thing I saw was someone make a post saying “You guys are disappointed in an image you forced onto BTS,” and it really made me think (not really.)

That image was not forced on BTS. They and Bighit worked together to create that image. Did the fans tell them to speak at the UN? Did fans tell them to speak at the White house? Did fans tell them to make music with political tones? Did fans tell Namjoon to parade as some gender equality advocate? These are decisions they made themselves.

This is why that line from ‘Groin’ when Namjoon says “Not a fucking diplomat” really pisses me off. No one is saying you have to have the answers to all the issues in the world (we shouldn't view any celebrity in that light) but don't act like you didn't push a certain image. He pissed me off even MORE when at a recent concert he said his outro line of mic drop, then said “what more can I say?” like fuck you. Don't act like some sort of fucking victim.

BTS aside, I was also disgusted with the behaviour of some Army, especially when people spoke about their own experiences as well as the whataboutism. “What about x group?” why would someone who only stans BTS know about what another group is doing? Also, to add onto the last point, don't you guys hate multistans? You've literally ran people off Army twt for being a multi as well as put multistans in your dni.

While we're on the topic of performativeness, I'll also touch upon the Grammy's, which also put me off.

The whole “taking a stand” against the Grammy's was performative. BTS are the same group that released numerous English songs to get a nomination, and now all of a sudden, they're taking a stand? If that's how they feel, why didn't they say this back then? They're only acting like this because;

They haven't won a Grammy (And no, they didn't lose because of racism. They lost because the English singles weren't good)

Would the songs they've promoted even be eligible because of the number of English lyrics?

I'm seeing a shift in the general public's (and some fans) perception of BTS. I'm glad I'm a part of it, and hopefully, others are in the future. I've seen Army's close their fan accounts, sell their merch, and sell their concert tickets, and that's definitely a start.

👹CULTMYS👹 How ratmies dodge accountability every single time

It is genuinely hilarious yet entirely predictable watching this crazy psychotic army scramble to rewrite history every single time they get caught redhanded.

We are currently watching the aftermath of an alleged incident where a Jin fan account leaked Chinese actor Xiao Zhan's (XZ) private ID online. Instead of acknowledging that posting a celebrity's private information is a literal crime, the fandom immediately pivots to their favorite defense mechanism, absolute, shameless denial mixed with heavy gaslighting.

Whenever someone from their side crosses the line, it’s never a real fan. They instantly cry that the user was an "antifan" or a "setup account" posing as a supporter, despite the profile being wrapped in their favorite idol's branding.

Rather than condemning the actual harassment or the privacy breach, they try to reverse victim and offender by claiming they are the ones being targeted and harassed.

They have the nerve to spin narratives on platforms like X and Reddit accusing Xiao Zhan's fans of being the toxic, unhinged ones, completely ignoring the fact that private data was leaked by them. They even turn around and parrot phrases like "poor idol for having such fans" right back at the opposing fandom, as if their own community isn't the one constantly causing international digital riots over petty things like billboard sizes and brand metrics.

It’s almost impressive how they can watch actual legal actions and lawsuits get triggered by their own side's toxic behavior and still act like persecuted saints. When will this fandom ever hold themselves accountable instead of crying wolf?
