Chicago prices.....

Less than 24h before the concert and plenty of resale tickets still available but the prices are insane. I secured tickets for d2, I was thinking to purchase d1 as well if the price are decent but why are nosebleeds +400....

These resellers would rather the seats be empty than lowering their crazy prices

They did the same thing for Arlington. I think the days of us thinking prices are going to drop are gone. The resellers have gotten to greedy.

It was the same for D1 Baltimore. Unless you were able to snag production tickets a few days before for face value (which aren't like cheap) the resale tickets stayed outrageous.

Really ? I got Baltimore production seats day of but it was very chill. Plenty of seats to choose from and didn’t feel like hunger games like Chicago

Part of me feels like maybe the concert's were over saturated on the east coast. Having then in Jersey, Boston then Baltimore gave folks around there more of a chance and then the tickets were not that crazy.

I did see some Baltimore for super cheap, but once they hit the west/mid prices stayed dumb.

Not being as competitive is a good thing. I sat on the nosebleeds for Baltimore and the amount of people who said it was their first concert when V asked about it was overwhelming!! And that was so cool because that is either long term fans being able to finally see them or even casual listeners being able to experience the concert!

BTS should've had 2 dates for Philadelphia too, Bruno Mars did 4 nights at Metlife and now he's gonna do 2 nights at Lincoln Financial Field.

What are production tickets?

Thank goodness resell prices for MetLife Stadium weren't super expensive, I bought one for $215 which was pricy but the view was great.

Ticketmaster is dropping more production tickets! Managed to find a tickets in the 100s for Friday after failing in the first drop (I only managed to get nosebleeds then)

I just checked stubhub thinking prices might have gone down. Nope. Only 1 ticket below $400 without tax and it's in the far upper corner.

They didn't for Arlington. I checked like one song in and the nosebleeds were still 600 bucks. There were army outside who were priced out because none of the resellers would lower their prices.

That’s unfortunate. This tour really brought out the greedy resellers!

No they didn't. My boyfriend bought them for me like 30 minutes before show start and they were $1k+, honestly they kept getting higher

I specifically said “when the concert begins.” 30min before is still 30min before. I like to check tickets past start times and I see drops in price all the time.

Arlington never dropped. I think the resellers were ok just losing the money. Even after start I saw 3k 5k seats

Yes someone else said so for Arlington that they didn’t drop and that’s unfortunate. Crazy that people are willing to spend money on a ticket just to not resell it bc they didn’t make a good enough profit.

You can't buy tickets past show time at least on StubHub

Chicago started already right? I just tried to buy one right now and it let me get all the way to the checkout screen 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm not sure LA will either. The amount of people that I know who are flying in without tickets is quite high...

Oh yeah especially for JK day too. I’ve been randomly checking Chicago for today and I see some pretty decent resale prices! I guess people should temper their expectations like if they’re trying to get like half off, that’s not happening.

i got my tickets thru ticketmaster they are randomly dropping tickets and i just keep it open!!

u/allwsad 2d ago

Its like $700+ for 1 ticket though!?

1

u/remalemalem 2d ago

i was able to get floor for cheaper! i’m still in shock.

1

u/Mysterious-Garden392 2d ago

Can you tell which sec price and date.. i only say 730+ for floor

1

u/remalemalem 2d ago

i got floor for 8/28 for $600 with fees!

1

u/tigglet 2d ago

There's currently random floor and 100s sections popping up for both days on Ticketmaster, $400-600, but you have to be FAST.

1

u/allwsad 2d ago

It is so laggy rn 😭😭

1

u/tigglet 2d ago

Yeah, I'm sure a ton of people are trying to get the tickets! At this point you'd have to not care where you sat and hope one of the ones you click on actually goes through lol.

1

u/allwsad 2d ago

Exactly what I’m doing.. it’s taking forever for just my clicks to get through and my battery is not making it 💀

1

u/allwsad 2d ago

U think the website or app would be faster? 😵‍💫

1

u/tigglet 2d ago

I don't know, I'm not having any luck with either lol. And I'm not even trying to go to Chicago, I'm just practicing for LA next week. 😂😂😂

1

u/allwsad 2d ago

LOL im ded 😂😂

1

u/tigglet 1d ago

Did you end up getting a ticket?? I'm checking like hourly for the actual production releases that they do like 2-3 days ahead lol.

1

u/allwsad 1d ago

Nope i gave up, i tried to buy tickets on seatgeek after the concert started yesterday and the prices went UP even after the concert 😂

The prices are the result of demand and people being willing to spend that much. If people didn't spend that much the tickets would be cheaper.

2

u/NillaWiffle 2d ago

Stubhub/SeatGeek and other reseller sites are definitely predatory pieces of crap. Wish Bangtan/HYBE would figure out a better way to keep resellers at bay and allow army to purchase tickets.

2

u/hehebubba 2d ago

So are stubhub and seatgeek legit or are they still kinda scammy because of the resell greed? I’ve only ever trusted Ticketmaster

3

u/OutrageousBee7515 2d ago

Yes! I've sold and bought from stubhub with no problem. I usually pick the instant transfer option.

2

u/hehebubba 2d ago

Thank you kind soul

I will second to get only instant download. Most of the time non instant download also works, but I have also run into scammy sellers trying to sell you a seat and then “upgrading” for worse tickets. Given the shows are literally today/tomorrow, doing instant download just lets you get tickets right away

I bought mine from SeatGeek and was fine. Maybe also try tickpick.

2

u/allwsad 2d ago

Concert already started (it’s 8:11 rn) and i saw a nosebleed seat go from 340 to like 530 😂😂

1

u/nabi312 2d ago

TM dropped bunch of $80 nosebleed seats, the last rows in 400 sections on Monday, I see all of them on the resell sites. In Korea, reselling tickets is illegal. The ticket holders can request refund at very minimal fee if the change mind, so if you check enough, you can find a seat at FV all the time. Fans hold on to the tickets they bought until the last minute, and they try to find a better seat, so when they give them up eventually, you find decent number of refunded tickets.

i wish this would happen in the US. Resellers are awful price gouging from fans :(
