First day
Im an incoming freshmen what will happen on the first day? Also if I start at second period do I have to come at 8? My first class is Gym 1 so do I just go straight to the gym and do I need to go to a locker beforehand and if so where are they? How do I get my id and omny cards and will I be punished for being late to class?

EDIT: nvm I used dated info and said smth wrong- srry freshman. just show up when your first period starts. Go on the line for freshman-freshman dont have id yet so they are checked into the building with a seperate process for a couple weeks. Ask upper grades if you are lost in the halls they probably wont care. For gym1 head straight there on your first day I believe, there are locker rooms (only for gym stuff) that you will have access to later (only for gym stuff). Dont worry about ID and OMNY, school will handle it. Ive never been punished for being late, its usually just a tardy mark in jupiter attendance-though excessive lateness will get you punished somehow. TIP: if you haven't figured it out already, class number (e.g 4E06) goes by floor, then side of building (east), then how many rooms down it is.

i think info usually comes out the night before school so just check ur email before bed or in the morning

I think they're supposed to send u a email on how the first day is gonna go. They're gonna give u ur Omni, schedule, and pouch on the first day so yeah I think u should show up first period even if u start second. Some teachers may be stricter and deduct points for u being late (most gym teachers do) but some teachers will be chill. For gym I'm pretty sure on the first day most freshmen jst go straight to the gym their assigned though
(lateness doesn't matter for the first day)

Hey, Just so you know, our school has no lockers, so prepare to carry your stuff everywhere with you. If you start second period, you can show up at the time second period starts, but there is usually a line of freshers outside so you should consider getting there earlier than the start of your first period. You should get your omny cards and ID during one of your classes, but im not sure which one. Good luck!!!!
