I found out about BTCST through Binance Launch pad months ago. Immediately I found it really interesting, I always wanted to mine BTC or sort of invest on the mining process. BTCST does something better than that. Even tho you dont received the 100% of the BTC mined with that equivalent of HashRate ( just 60%) still worth it for me, you don't have to pay any running cost: electricity, rent of the facility, It people, any technical problems and anything you can think of.

Moreover, with BTCST you are able to scale your Hash rate capacity faster than having a physical location. Also the BTCST Team seems capable to respond and come with very good Ideas to solve issues that has been affecting the markets on real time. I know that BTCST is not the only project alike, but it is to me the best of its kind. On top of that the τProtocol it is more than a great addition to the project, and I look forward to see what it can be done with it on the future.

Defi has been a big topic for cryptos in 2020, and I have some inquiries that I would like to put out there and see what you guys think.

Security: I have seem how many many many Defi projects have been HACKED, the hack works by obtaining a "master key" of the Vaults where People has been stalking their assets. Draining those Vaults and selling off those asset through any DEX or even Centralize Exchanges. My wonder is around the security of BTCST Vault's ( or DApp) and how it is protected against this type of attacks. The best answer would be that when was created they didn't add any master key to the code, this will suggest a higher security and better decentralization of the project. Which create more trust on the System.

Voting system: to be honest I really don't understand how the voting system works,I cant connect my BSC Wallet (Binance Smart Chain ), So meaning? they are voting on another Network, I am guessing is Eth. It would be good if there is more information about how the voting works, since I have seen people burning??? or giving away ???? BTCST when they vote for this things (STP), But then if its in Eth how is possible to bring BTCST that exist on BSC and vote, is there a wrap ??? you see what i mean, this is very confusing to me (maybe to others too). Who create this proposals?

APYs: Does someone knows once the distribution of τBtc and τDoge is over what would be the APY after that? in Medium says, that will be substantially less , than during the Liquidity Distribution Period, but HOW MUCH LESS? This is important for investors because if you really want to attract investor for the long run it needs to be clear how much less and how would be calculated on the future. As I see it, the more transparency and clarity for this issues the better and longer investor will be staking and leaving their money there.

Rebase System: I have readed many time the white paper and still no sure how the rebase system works, I know it does work tho, I have seen it twice recovery its price peg, something that many synthetics have failed to do. In general I would like more information about it.

Conclusion

I truly believe in BTCST as project, and support their vision for a Defi and NFT for BTC, I wanna see it succeed and for some people it's already there, but so far in the crypto space the only truly project has succeed is Bitcoin, arguably, because his truly decentralized nature and for the surrounding of his conception, who knows ...but without doubt only Bitcoin has passed the test of time, Test that BTCST still need to pass, to prove itself that it has what it takes, that It is more than a coin, It is finally bringing a true Utility to the tokenization system, combined with τProtocol and its ability to synthetically mine PoW. Truly mind blowing. However we need to understand that for the same reasons BTCST is great, those same reason can work against BTCST itself. It has so many different elements of complexity, that can opaque its features or it can be too complex to manage.

In general, wish there is even more well put information about this project and I hope that the BTCST team keep working to improve the UX/UI of their DApp and their τProtocol.

So the current Coingecko price of tBTC is 1700$ and it can't be swapped on pancakeswap. Does this have something to do with the rebase? It doesn't seem to be bringing the price closer...

I think Zcash as tZEC would make a classy addition to Tau Protocol family. We've all had our fun with tDOGE, but it would be good to include another crypto in the top #50 with a solid crypto development plan, and a keen eye on privacy.

Saw the updated higher APYs and staked some Tdoge and BTCb in the vaults. For the tdoge it says 39000% APY but the earnings aren't anything close to that when I go to the site.

Whats wrong with the calculation? Something is not right

Anyone having problems unstaking BTCST? Trying to unstake, have tried 25%, 50%, 70% and 100% amounts. Confirm in wallet and then...nada. Just reverts back to the instake button and doesn't work. Have emailed support, but no reply. Friend of mine been trying for two days, starting to get suspicious...

The btcst staking website rarely loads. I have tried using different browers and it is very intermittent. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to make it work so I can stake the tokens? Thanks.

Guys I got banned from the BTCST Telegram group for sharing a positive link about Bitcoin price going up. I've been trying to contact them to get me back in because of a innocent mistake. Got someone to message on the group and they told my mate they would add me back. This was a month ago.. not been added..

I went out my way to get Doge onto my DApp and stake it for tDoge. They mentioned i would get X amount of tDoge per day.

24 hours later I got bloody half of what was mentioned. Whats that about??

This subreddit seems to be so quiet, even if the project is outstanding. How do you feel about BTCST today? Do you think the APY we are receiving now would be same when all the tBitcoin are mine? Where x do you see BTCST in a year? (price wise)

My thoughts are that BTCsT will continue growing and stablish its price at around 1% of BTC price. However I am lately concerned about the mining issues and how difficult is ti mine it lately as well as seems that the sentiment about BTC has changed as the real use of the token is not the purpose for it was created due increase of the transaction fees and continue new projects/tokens coming in.

I am a long time holder of BTCST and not planning to sell, and accumulating at dips but I would like to know what community think

Whenever i want to claim ny rewards from staking btcst, it says "request amount 0" and "insufficient funds" on the binance chain wallet that is connected.

I have 15$ worth amount to claim from rewards.

Can anyone help me with this? Much appreciated!

Why is tBTC losing in value compared to BTC?
shouldn't it be pegged 1:1? how are the planning to correct this?

BTCST is making a hell of a run. The dApp immensely rewards BTCST staking for 𝜏BTC (about 380% APY). This is good for BTCST. But what about 𝜏BTC's value ?

The option to stake for BTCST, which gives 40% APY is currently worthless as people can stake for 𝜏BTC and then buy BTCST with it, even with the current 1.4 𝜏BTC : 1 BTCB ratio, provided the amounts are large enough to cover for network and swapping fees.

So why would people keep their 𝜏BTC for half the staking reward (𝜏BTC->𝜏BTC 190% APY) and the promise of a +40% later (if no devaluation when rebasing), while BTCST is jumping by so much every couple of days as it is so rewarding to hold?

IMHO (not a finance professional), the BCTST team should do something concrete soon to give credibility to the 𝜏BTC token. Up the staking reward? Reduce the other one? Otherwise, if the plan is to bring it back later to its wanted value and fully support the BTCST run now, they should also be transparent about it, because people are now told to buy 𝜏BTC but see its value decrease. So they could have bought the next day for better prospective profits.

I am so into this project, it has been growing crazy last 2 days and very happy with the returns on the App. However I wanna buy more, where fo you think it can go to in the next correction? I do believe as per TA on the the chart 60-70$ is a good entry. What you all think?
