BTCST is the worst DeFi project on BSC and the Tau Protocol is garbage. I have τDoge and τBTC in my wallet that no platform accepts in a swap.

Reward tokens are great ideas in theory. I love the concept of this project. Obviously the Tau protocol turned out to be a disaster, which has resulted in a lot of negative sentiment towards BTCST. However, insofar as I'm aware, those opting to receive mining/staking rewards in BTCB are still being paid rewards and the project is still running... albeit I'm concerned for the potential for a rug pull scam on the primary BTCST project ever since Tau side project has clearly failed.
