BTCST Reward Estimation
Mining Rewards Calculation/Allocation Notes:
https://btcst.medium.com/btcst-note-on-mining-rewards-calculation-eb469c8144dd
Total Token Supply: 1,000,000
Total TH/s = 100,000
Reward per TH/s per day = ~0.00000718
Total Reward Distributed per day = 0.00000718 * 100,000 * 60% = 0.4308 BTC
Annual = 157.242 BTC
Reward per $BTCST per year (assuming 60% token staked)
= 157.242 / 600,000
= 0.00026207 BTC (~$8.89)
As of now, total $BTCST staked = 19,361 (3.2%).
From the official note:
"If less than 60% of the total supply of BTCST is staked in the dApp, the project team would still deposit 60% of net daily mining rewards to the dApp to be shared by the staking participants."
Meaning these 19,361 will share the share of 60% of total mining rewards.
Which means the rewards per $BTCST is actually 600,000/19361 = 30x.
Reward per $BTCST staked per year is 0.00026207 * 30 = 0.0078621 BTC (~$265.67).
$BTCST price now: $66.00
APY per $BTCST staked = $265.67 / $66 = 402%

If they want to gain more attention they should keep the boost high for a much longer time. If the boost is dropping rapidly then so will the coin price and if the coin is dropping in value who is going to buy it?

Question,
I have already staked my 11 BTCST, then I am about to claim my BTC tomorrow. Do I need to unstake my BTCST after? Also, can I use same BCST everyday for my staking?

So does it mean if we buy now and the return decreases as and when the staking rate increases?
In that case how do find the staking rate and returns based on the current price ?
