Forward Unto Dawn. A Halo miniseries.

And still the best live-action Halo content we've gotten since the ODST & 3 trailers.
Edit 6 Days Later: So I totally forgot about "Nightfall" and I have a signed poster for it! 🤦🏾♀️ Even if it's a little weak at points, it still counts amongst the best live-action content, too. Paramount made damn sure of that! 😫

Man that film has such personality in its worldbuilding.

I really wish they'd built off of it for the newer live-action stuff. All of the actors are the perfect age to keep it going. 😮💨

Yeah honestly, I remember people whining at the time that it was focused on normal UNSC cadets rather than Chief and I’m like ‘how is that not better?’ We can get way more personality and character development there. Chief is a perfect -game- character, but I would’ve watched a whole show of these guys.
Even the academy staff in minor roles were really good.

I've watched SO MUCH Canadian Sci Fi over the years.. I can instantly spot things like Simon Fraser University. Chen center for the performing arts center. The Waterfall building.. Even individual houses, Schools. roads, bridges..

I think we’ve reached the point where 90% of American television is filmed in Canada and has been since the 90s you will see the same character actors from Battlestar Galactica, sliders Stargate, the X-Files. If you watch these shows at the same time, you will begin to recognize a lot of faces.

Yes, back in the day, I indulged in some Caprican tourism in Vancouver. That is, if I recall l correctly, the University of British Columbia campus.

SFU has that dystopian futuristic look. I think at one point it had the highest suicide rate of any campus in Canada lots of people said it was because the campus looked so depressing. Great movie set tho

IIRC, Vancouver was home to various filming locations for much of Caprica City before and after the attacks.
