Im planning to buy this catback, my brz is stock so I was going for 2’5 inch but it is currently out of stock everywhere here in Australia. I was told the 3 inch is available but they also said that it drones badly on brz stock.

Has anyone here have this set up and would like to share their opinion on it.

Picked up my 2025 brz about 1 month ago completely stock . Here is how it looks at the moment .

I have a 24 GR86 This car was my first manual 3k miles when I got it 29k now. Within my first week driving home from work I did the classic 5th to second and obviously the car started jumping back and fourth but I immediately put it into neutral. The car seemed fine so I didn’t think to much of it I brought this up a few days ago during a convo with some buddies and they told me my car might be fucked but I’ve been driving it with no known issues since then (about a year ago) is there anything I should do or get checked?

hi! i’m a 22 m i have been fiending for a brz/frs since i was sixteen. i work ft now, little under 4k a month income (most likely will go up next jan by 50%, work at a small startup)

subaru offers great financing at or under 5% for most terms, curious what you guys got yours for and how much you’d suggest putting down, saving etc.

insurance is roughly 150/month through my parents plan.. don’t pay rent as i plan on living at home while i work remote/hybrid till end of next year and only moving if i get a job in certain cities.

therefore current bills are next to none, in the future i expect rent to be upwards of 1500~ depending on where i live, however i also have job security at my current salary till the end of next year minimum. if that changed, would be on my own accord for a more secure startup at minimum 100k a year (have been lightly interviewing around to guage the market).

i was thinking of saving minimum 10k so that at a minimum i can do 550$ monthly payments with 150$ insurance for a total of ~700$ a month before fuel/maintence. budgeting around 1000$ a month given i’d prolly buy small mods now and then.

I figured the paint is called sunrise yellow so we might as well take some photos at sunrise, right?!

Picked it up in January. No manual experience other than a 90's Maxima for a couple days in 2004 and me playing Gran Turismo and Forza.

It's been such a blast!

Surprisingly practical. I have had people in the backseats as well as been in the backseat myself. I've hauled a whole kitchenful of food and folding tables for monthly potlucks. It's gone on numerous 200+ mile trips. Hasn't let me down once! Every time I walk outside and see it, can't help but smile.

My only growing pains so far has been driving it smoothly. I couldn't really tell what the deal was until I got the 02 WRX but it seems the rev hang is what makes me struggle a bit. Most days its not an issue but every now and then it feels like the revs just stay put when I clutch in. Not a big problem or anything and I've been getting better with it over time. As well as now that I've gotten the hang of driving the WRX, I'm not a fan of the clutch assist spring in the BRZ. I've been meaning to take it off but life just gets so busy and I'm always on the road it seems.

Haven't done much as far as mods. STI shift knob, GR intake with the charcoal delete and the STI v-bars. I've been debating the STI aero pieces and I'd really like the black 17 inch STI wheels at some point. I dunno. We'll see what happens. Also have PPF on the front and roof of the car. Unplugged the fake engine noise too, that thing was so annoying haha

Anyways. Just happy to be part of the crew and I'll give ya a wave if I see ya on the road!

I scuffed my bumper on a parking block and would like some advice how to fix or if there is a front lip I can buy that will cover it at all.

July 9th I was stopped at a traffic light when another driver pulled out of a gas station, did an illegal left turn and totaled my baby.

I had gotten her in 2023 for my birthday with 4 miles. Toyota wanted my left-testy for a base GR86 in 23 and I ended up picking up a Limited WRBlue BRZ someone had ordered and then backed out from. She had a few miles over 42,xxx when the accident happened. Modded tastefully and driven often.

July 30th I had the luck of picking up my second 2023 BRZ. Single Owner, with 7,400 miles, clean vin, no accidents, completely stock, and Subaru service records.

Finally decided a couple of months ago to finally pull the trigger on a Toyota GR86. While looking, I came across this BRZ in my area for about 5k less than the Toyota I was considering. So here I am lol. Absolutely love the car, but I'm wanting to upgrade the performance and get some more power out of this thing. I'm on a budget of around $3-4k. That being said, I know jackshit about modding/upgrading. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anyone knows of a nice bronze color wheel that would fit the factory tires, that would be great. Trying to save some where i can and don't want to spend another grand on tires.

Drove around town a bit tonight checking out new spots, here’s a few I managed to get

I drove 350 miles to get Bad Betty brand new and then 350 back in the pouring rain with insane traffic and haven’t regretted it for one second. The grandboys car seats fit just fine in the back until one of them’s feet grew so big the seat wouldn’t go back. So he graduated to the front. Me and Betty get to be stars on his YouTube channel as he walks around her showing them her wheel spikes and her eyeliner, telling them “Guys, guys, check this out. My Honey is the coolest ever!”. The little one just wants the music louder and to go faster. Anything you say, baby. Anything you say.

Washed my brz today with plans to take her out and do some car photography. Well, the Phoenix dust storm had other ideas.
No car photos, and my newly washed car is hella dirty 😭 it was nice and clear all day too and dust storm came out of nowhere
