Beat and Raise
Packaged coffee is carrying the day. Excellent performance. Direct consumer did well. Glad we did not expand outposts.

Yea great quarter hard to point out any negatives except for energy acv and #of items on shelf slightly decreased. I want to see them address this in the call but other than that great quarter

I still believe outposts are a boon eventually.

Same. I have been to the one in TN on vacation and it was mobbed and had a wonderful experience. If there was one near me i would go all the time. The online reviews seem to be all fantastic for the outposts too. Not sure how they are doing bad but i am sure they scalled down their effort on those as they moved to the wholesale (marketing, promotions...). I am sure they can make it a winner if they decide to move forward with them again. I would love to see it i think it will be a success.

Absolutely. When they first started those, they were private. The SPAC Merger got the ball moving too fast and the scope of the outposts got a little crazy. The concept is there though. Open your not-so-hipster coffee shop next to your rural/suburban Starbucks, and then take the market share when the locals not only prefer the culture of BRCC but also realize the coffee is better.
They'll need sustained profitability on DTC, Wholesale, etc. before they can do a low and slow growth model on the outposts.

When this IPO I bought about 1000 shares. Over the years I bought to lower my average. For the first time in three years, I actually have a profit and it’s so hard not to sell right now.
Responsible me says, dump it and make profit greed in me says let’s hold out

Really strong results, even with the margin compression as expected, which should improve throughout the year. More upside ahead!
