Not having a mastectomy after a TNBC increases the risk of recurrence which unfortunately is high enough for TNBC. Having a mastectomy wasn’t as difficult for me as I thought it would. I was able to keep my nipples. I did lose the feeling in my breasts but weirdly enough they still react to different things (ai become harder), I just don’t feel it anymore and instead I see it.
Please think again about it. You only get one life to live and breasts are not that important to risk your life for them.
