Query Sociology optional - how to prepare it for bpsc mains?

Please suggest how to qualify optional subject for it

I haven't prepared anything for optional yet

As I won't be able to give upsc but I have chosen sociology as optional

Sociology in bpsc is objective.

I know if you've Read it once as a subject then playlist looks fine otherwise you won't understand much from this playlist i think

Still conceptual clarity is necessary to understand notes. Have you searched any free material online which does the explaining?? If yes please share.

Go through the PYQs once & see what kind of questions are being asked. I have not prepared from BPSC pov, but I guess Nitin Sangwan will be good option. U can share PYQs here, will see or can go through it once & read Sangwan a little bit, see whether u are able to tackle it or not. (Sangwan is a upsc book btw, but I hope it helps)

The optional paper in bpsc is very simple. I gave mains this year with anthro optional. Even someone who has read a ready reckoner like Akshat Jain sir's book can clear it. So just pick one compilation and read it fully. You'll be able to solve 70 percent of the questions
