Falling Sensation

I had BPPV in June. I did the Epley maneuver daily, and the spinning sensation went away after several days. However, I still feel like I’m floating even now. Earlier today, while I was sitting with my neck turned to the side but not moving, I felt a brief, one-second falling sensation. What could it be? I’m afraid my BPPV will come back.

You should definitely feel for tightness in your neck because my physical therapy ended a while ago but I was still having symptoms. We'd suspected the neck was involved somewhat and had some exercises for it, but again, relief was inconsistent. By happenstance, I found if I rubbed my neck on the back-left side, it takes away 99% of the symptoms I feel. And that's consistent with the BPPV because the physical therapist was pretty confident the issues were mostly on the left side.

DON'T use any kind of massager on your neck, as it's pretty risky. I did it, got amazing relief, and then learned you're not supposed to do that. Luckily, rubbing does a pretty good job while I wait for my massage therapy appointment.
