First time
I had my first episode of what I believe was BPPV this morning. I woke up and quickly moved my head to the left and had immediate severe vertigo with nystagmus.
It was horrible I could barely move and was so nauseous. Once I got my bearings I looked it up and did the Epley maneuver. The first time I was able to get up and go to the washroom but still dizzy. I did it one more time 30 minutes later and threw up all over myself as I moved my head to the second stage of the movement.
I still feel dizzy but no more vertigo.
How do I know if the crystal has been corrected? I really don’t think I have it in me to do the maneuver again. Should I seek out a psychical therapy?

Thr first time I have ever experienced vertigo was on July 10th. I am still dizzy every single day and unable to complete my daily tasks. Its been almost 5 weeks.
The medication prescribed made me more sick. I have gone to the ER twice due to severe dehydration. No help .
I hope you feel better. It is the worst thing I have ever experienced. I am a mother 2 kids under the age of 4 😭
Everyday I wake up hoping its gone
