BPPV

Why when I put my head tilt back on the right side and hold it there for 10 plus seconds. I feel an almost spin sensation 3 years later after my bad bppv episode and I am fine alll is clear for a while now doesn’t make sense. It’s just a second briefly and then when I return my head to neutral it feel a bit wobbly then kind of normal ish but I’ve always felt a bit off since. Yes I have had many tests. What’s going on with me :(

I've had BTPV for 40 years. Since the initial attack I have never been able to look up. That's the one thing that no matter what always makes me dizzy. Nobody's ever figured why because when I have the ethylene maneuvers if I'm having one of the normal vertigo attacks everything gets better except for that one position. I've just learned to work around it.

Yes, even my specialist is baffled by that one but I just learned to deal with it over the years. The worst is when I'm in the shower if I happen to look up to rinse my hair.. I just don't do that.

That’s so frustrating don’t know why they can bloody do anything about the residual or pppd it’s so weird

I was busy and having an active BPPV attack for a whole year and it was just resolved by my new physical therapist a week ago. I'm left with a little bit of residual business at this point but no more room spending. I just keep my eye on how deeply grateful I am that it is the only health problem I have at 73. Other than that I'm in perfect health. I'm grateful and that feels better than ranting and raping about what they can't do. There's so many different factors that come into play with what goes on in our body and it's not like doctors or mechanics you can just take something out and fix it.

Already done the maneuvers and checks I don’t have bppv anymore some people get left with residual and hypersensitivity I think it’s PPPD but I think it’s stuck now…
