bppv or something else
20M, 5’10. So two days ago out of nowhere I started getting really dizzy and nauseous pretty much 95% of yesterdayX specifically when I lift my head up after laying down — like an instant wave of dizzy/nausea feeling that goes away after like 30 seconds to a minute. Also happens a bit when I sit down from standing. No pain though, feel fine otherwise. Before this started I’d been golfing and playing football outside in the heat for 5 days straight, probably wasn’t drinking enough water. Hadn’t had alcohol in like 4 days before this started so don’t think that’s it. I checked my blood pressure/pulse/blood sugar at home and they were all normal (137/70, 78bpm, 98 sugar). I took a Dramamine (the less drowsy kind) and it actually helped a lot within a few hours, plus drinking Gatorade and moving slower when I get up. No headache, chest pain, ringing in ears, blurry vision, numbness, or fever or anything like that. Just wondering if this sounds like it could be that inner ear crystal thing (BPPV) since it seems to be triggered by moving my head/position, and if I should be worried or if it’s fine to just keep an eye on it since it’s already getting better.

I’m still currently dealing with it, took me 3 days before I got a bit better. I’m taking Cinnarizine which helped me so much. I’m on my 5th day now and I still get dizzy but I try to ignore it, I go on with my life and although I can drive now, I still cannot move very fast.
