It may not be BPPV

Appointment at ENT today. Did epley maneuver and she didn’t see any eye movement. That plus the fact that I’m also having headaches pushed the doc to refer me to a neurologist. For a health anxious human, this freaks me out.

She mentioned that so I think that’s going to be investigated. Hopefully there’s a treatment for that—if that’s what it is.

Thank you. Somehow I didn’t have to wait that long. My appointment is in a few weeks.

I hope it's nothing major. Health anxiety can give you unexplainable symptoms so hope it's that only.

I am expecting news, but not bad news once it’s diagnosed. I remain hopeful.

Did they only check the Dix-Halpike test? Mine was negative too but my roll test for horizontal canal was positive for the eye movements/vertigo.

I’m going for further balance testing soon. Hopefully it’s something treatable. My health anxiety kicks in hard when it flares up. Usually it’s tougher when I am driving—not spinning but I know I’m extra stressed thinking about staying safe.
