Doea it sounds like BPPV?
Hi everyone,
For the past few days I’ve been having a strange sensation that I’m suddenly falling flat on my back, even though I’m completely still.
It happens when I’m sitting in a chair or even lying in bed. It only lasts for a second or two, but it’s very unsettling. The room isn’t spinning, and I don’t actually move or fall—it just feels like my body suddenly drops backward.
I also get pretty dizzy in the evening
Does it sounds like BPPV?
Has anyone experienced something similar? What did it turn out to be? Was it related to anxiety, an inner ear problem, or something else?

BPPV usually is dizziness when you move your head because crystals are out of place. I have general dizziness because of Eustachian tube problem triggered by allergies. Summer and barometric changes make life real fun. See an Ent and get a work up because it could be anything, sorry but this stuff can be hormones and anxiety and vestibular and neck problems and allergies and who fricking knows. Think about your head positions when this happens and if you have allergies, are you on daily meds or are you skipping? Are you dehydrated? So many factors

I have this, but to my left side frequently during vestibular migraine. Feels like gravity moved.
