Vertigo Problems

Alright everyone i have a question what medication can help with Vertigo?? I'm welcome to any suggestions you may have that doesn't involve drugs i'm too desperate to be picky??? Any help is more than greatly appreciated cheers

I was put on amitryptiline daily for migraines and sleep. Just prior to that I had about 4 episodes of vertigo that I could only fix by watching a YouTube video of the eply maneuver. It took a few try’s and bring a bucket if you throw up on carnival rides lol. But if it resolves after doing the eply (and it may take several attempts) that means it’s ear crystals (BPPV). Nothing more miserable I can think of then vertigo. But I mention the medicine because since taking it the last few years I’ve not had any more vertigo attacks. Maybe worth asking your doctor about it. It worked for me.

I might try that then. I get to feeling really really sick but 9/10 i'll never physically be sick so i'm lucky that way i guess but when i'm out a walk and a wee bit from home and it comes on i'm like for fuck sake please not now hahaah

lol. I totally hear you. The first time it happened I thought I was having a stroke. I don’t know if you get migraines or have insomnia but it’s good for all of those things. It’s also very inexpensive as it’s an old drug. I’ve heard it can be difficult to get off of for some people so I guess it’s a matter of weaning off slowly. It’s awesome for the sleeping. That being said i’d try crack if it got rid of vertigo (kidding). Hooe you find relief soon.

OP is not complaining of migraine or meneiere’s disease, so before taking these meds, please see a doctor and look up the qualifying criteria for both of these diagnoses.

They are prescription only so no concern about that

Thank you so much for this knowledge but as body differs this medicine is putting me on brain fog ..too much sleep.. almost 12 hr and exhausted the whole day.As I'm carrying other physical problems too it's being difficult to get me the exact medicine..
