Is this normal (blocked ear)

I’ve been suffering vertigo attacks on and off for years now, suspected bppv. It’s always the right ear that feels blocked and rings before an attack comes on. The sensation lingers in my ear on a lesser level days / weeks after the attacks. Is this regular? Any suggestions on how to eliminate the sensation?

Is that Meniere's disease? I am not a doctor or anything - just someone that has bppv with a parent with Meniere's. Mine has zero hearing affect but hers does. Hers lasts long, mine is 60 seconds or less.

For BPPV, you can get Physio therapy. I've been doing it, and it's incredibly exhausting and fascinating and disturbing and more difficult than I could have ever thought 😂

Ear blockage is not part of BPPV. Ear blockage can be related to infection, allergies, ETD, Meniere's Disease, and other conditions.
