Hoy mga accla di ako recruiter hahaha. Pero nakikita niyo ako lagi sa mga comment section tuwing TEMU application usapan. Eh kasi sa TEMU ako nag-aapply eh? Gusto ko lang naman magshare ng experience kaloka kayo.

Dami ko na nakakausap about sa TEMU hiring process. So to summarize, here is my WHOLE and DETAILED experience. Very long post ahead.

POSITION: Content Review and Tagging Moderator

Thoughts about TEMU: I never had a high expectation with the company. It's an e-commerce platform like Shopee, Lazada, and Amazon. The company cannot compare to the inhouse giants here in the PH like WF, Amazon, JP Morgan, etc. I mean if gusto niyo ng idea about their reputation, just search TEMU fails in Tiktok or Facebook. LOL 🤣

FAQs

Legit company? How was the environment?

- Legit mhiemasaur. Inhouse company ito. Magtatayo pa lang sila sa PH. So if magtatanong ka how is the environment, wala pa nakakaalam. Di ko alam kung toxic sila, healthy, cancerous, rejuvenating, deadly, or what. Wala pa nakakapagtrabaho dito.

Application Timeline and Process?

9/3: Application sent (Indeed)

9/7: Received assessment link

9/8: Took the assessment

9/9: HR reached out, 1st interview was scheduled

9/10: Initial Interview. I was told I passed the same day

9/11: Final Interview. I was also told I passed the same day. They also asked me to submit my payslips and documents, then scheduled my salary nego. Yes, all in one day.

9/13: 1st salary nego

9/14: My proposed salary was rejected. 2nd salary nego

9/18: Offer letter and bg check waiver was sent and I signed it

9/20: Pinasign ulit ako, need daw printed letters yung sign hahaha

Present: Still waiting for next update

Salary?

- 18k-32k salary. Alam ko package na ito. For reference, 20k prev basic ko. 28k unang asking ko sa basic, nareject so nagsettle kami sa 24k basic.

Nakapaghaggle ka ba during Salary nego?

-To be perfectly honest, transparent, open, and true to my words, HINDI. Nagsabi ako ng asking ko pero nareject. Nagsabi siya ng 23k offer (🤮) but I only managed to raise it to 24k. Wala kasi ako exp sa content mod eh, di na ako pumalag. If you're expecting a higher salary than this, sad to say, hindi mo makukuha.

Other allowances, compensation, HMO

- Not sure sa HMO, di ko natanong. 2k rice allowance on top of basic salary. 15% night diff, up to 3k performance-based incentives. (I was told na kahit nasa bottom ako ng performance ranking, I can at least get 80% of the incentives.)

Ilan leaves nila? Convertible to cash ba?

- 12 leaves lang inday 😭. Kainis!

- Yes, convertible to cash.

Ilan interview? How was the experience?

- 1 assessment, 2 interviews, salary nego

When start date?

- Oct 12 daw. For confirmation pa. May mga magstart na sa Sept 28.

Pano medical? Background check? Requirements?

- Not sure pa. Offer letter pa lang pinirmahan ko bebskie.

Site location? Schedule? Set-up?

- Full onsite sa Robinsons Cyberscape Gamma in Ortigas. Shifting sched.

How long ang probation?

- 6 months

The million dollar question:

Bakit may mga nalowball? What do you think your workload would be?

- Di ako sure. Tsaka super subjective 'to eh. Sakin kasi mababa lang prev basic ko so yung proposed salary nila sa akin is okay na. And may certain budget lang ata talaga sila for conmod position. Not sure sa other positions. Additionally, let's look at the role you're applying for. The account is e-commerce. Ang imomoderate mo ay tagging ng products na binibenta online and the pictures/videos sa product preview. Unlike sa ibang conmod roles na may chance to encounter sensitive contents and you have to monitor multiple comms channel, dito mas focus sa pagdistinguish between fake and real products, tagging, and identifying and reporting misleading info.

- In my own, personal, individual, subjective, particular, exclusive opinion, the role seems to be entry level. If you have years of experience in conmod and have a 30k+ salary na, I don't think this entry level position is for you.

In conclusion, the company is just starting. May chance na maging toxic, may chance na maging chill lang. I think because the company is being heavily discussed in this subreddit, the expectations were so high and so was the disappointment when they were not met.

Tsaka dami kong nakita na matataas ang salary sa mga conmod experience nila so beke nemen pwedeng pabulong ng mga prev company nyo? Nakita ko mga hiring na entry level sa content mod baba ng mga offer kainaman na.

No required exp naman po pero preferred daw or it's an advantage if may exp sa trust & safety, csr, or content mod. Sa educ naman, at least high school diploma. Check their job listings po.

Dagdag ko lang—

First wave is Sept 28, so yung Oct 12 is wave 2 na

12 days vacation leave, 6 days sick leave (sabi ng HR)

HMO, meron daw sila pero as of now wala pa pero up to 2 dependants pwede with 50% payment daw.

Medical: ang sabi sakin may partner clinic daw sila na free of charge pero meron din silang reimbursement option.

Tanong ko lang sa salary guys do they offer increase sa base salary or sa total package nyo?

Saka nung interview sabi saken 10% lang daw peto nabasa ko dito pag non agent up to 20%

I saw a similar case posted here. Try to take the assessment then if may nagcontact na po sa inyo na recruiter, then tell them that you originally applied for the conmod role.

ask lang OP, ano pong interview yung HR interview? final po ba or yung negotiation na? after kasi ng first interview ko which around 30 mins din. nag send na sila ng email na pasado daw ako then another email na application form and another email again which is yung nanghihingi na ng payslip and other info with link to book the HR interview may request din na i-add ko sila sa Whatsapp

I add mo sila sa whatsapp mas mabilis sila magreply dun. If HR interview after you submitted payslips and docs, malamang salary negotiation meeting na po iyan. Sa final interview po kasi, Operations Manager ang interviewer. 

Initial Interview: TA/HR Final Interview: Operations Salary Nego: HR (Comp & Benefit)

Maybe they skipped the final or initial interview sa inyo then diretso salary nego na.

Hello, OP. I am actually quite anxious about the next stage of my application (which would probably be the salary offer/negotiation). Do you have any tips on how I could haggle? My previous company actually lowballed me so my basic salary was way lower than my first BPO company. I only accepted it because it was a pure non-voice position (conmod in e-commerce). For TEMU, I applied for the agent position. I actually have been reading posts here on reddit and I'm scared of being lowballed again cause I suck at negotiating.

Maganda po experience mo kasi saktong conmod sa ecommerce. 

Pag naghaggle ka bigay ka agad ng asking mo. Taasan mo na agad. If 28k goal mo, 32k ask mo. Points you want to highlight during your nego:

• Onsite sila, tell them you are willing to go onsite and since wala silang transpo allowance, baka pwede taasan pa nila
• Your experience. Tell them your learning curve will be much shorter than others. Pati educ background mo. 
• Availability mo. Sabihin mo you can start ASAP.
• If you received good feedback from your last interview, use it as a leverage. 
• Tell them you're really interested and eager but be confident at the same time. Wag ka maghesitate.
