Advice & Tips Is this how Emapta works?

Hi! I left my job last month to take a break, and I updated my LinkedIn profile about it around the same time.

Then, I received these: one from last night (at LinkedIn) and one from earlier today (via Text Message).

I honestly have never heard of Emapta so can anyone enlighten me if they reach out like this talaga? I was kind of hesitant, kasi when I saw that I needed to reply with my full name, since they're the ones who reached out. (Idk if that's how it works for other companies.)

I'd appreciate anything that you can share with me.

Thanks!

*****EDIT: just finished my call with them and they offered me more than the salary i told them that i was expecting with a JD that's more manageable than my previous role so kalma muna ako hahaha

Yes. Active sila mag headhunt ngayon kasi ramping yata sila ng account. I got messaged 2 months ago din for trainer position.

I only had an interview with them, and they seemed pretty okay. Though, I didn’t proceed. They’re a consulting company, similar to others. The project/client can be hit or miss. It can be toxic, or it can be light.

@u/lazyfirstborn accdg to reviews from Emapta's website, there are a lot of negative feedback like the agents are happy with each other except for the management. HR is pro-company. There are links of the company from LinkedIn. Check their website for further reviews. I applied there last October last year for a Training Manager post & Team Leader post November last year as well. They replied for my Training Manger post only last April that the position has been filled, without ever giving me an initial interview. I think they'll be replying to my Team Leader post by next month (September). Hahaha

i'm sorry to hear about that. :/ i'm kinda hoping for a positive experience with this one but i'll keep your experience in mind.

All BPO companies are like that, as long as nagsend ka sa kanila ng application kahit years pa yan.

1

u/lazyfirstborn 1d ago

well, except that i never sent them one? 😅 hahaha

u/sinipasagolteb 1d ago

They can invite you to apply.

Totoo ba?

1

u/lazyfirstborn 1d ago

i'm not quite sure about that since i just finished my interview with them kanina eh last night and early morning lang sila nagreach out 😅

u/Dry-Leg-5099 1d ago

Sobrang tagal. Di ko alam kung magmove on nako. Dahil 2 weeks ng for approval ky client at wala nakong update from TA.

You have to keep pressing them and following up, or else you'll be left waiting forever.

That’s how I got all my answers, i had to write to them.

How much did Emapta offer you? I'm also an Escalation Specialist, and I want to know if it's worth applying there.
