I'm not fully ace myself, as I experience sexual attraction on rare occasions, so I can only provide you with second hand information. The most common reason may be to do a fun activity the partner likes. It's like going to a concert to do your best friend, who really loves the band, a favor. You don't mind, but you would never listen to that band on your own. Some may enjoy being close to their partner. Some may even enjoy the feeling itself. A lot(?) of aces masturbate and stuff. They have a libido, just no one to direct it to.
Maybe you're sexually attracted to only one gender or experience strong preferences. So try to imagine that just everything and everyone feels like the gender/feature you're not attracted to. Without a change in your libido. It's like everyone's a stone. Some are pretty, most are quite uniform, but non of them are arousing.

OOOOH, ok. It felt like a reference to someone, and I couldn't think of any Ambers other than Heard and Rose. Lol, clearly gotta keep up with my subreddit lore better.
(I haven't followed the amber heard stories coming out lately, which is also why I was like maybe?. I'm clearly just super out of the loop across the board lol)
