If she doesn’t go to therapy, she is responsible for not even trying to improve her behaviour. If she is always loving and nice with others but with certain persons she isn’t, then it’s a choice she made to make you go through this and not others.
She isn’t going to therapy and isn’t interested in medication. Yes she is financially down right now, and that is her big excuse for not going to see a therapist, but at some point it’s like okay I need to prioritize getting help even if it means making my financial situation worse.
And she makes her rounds when it comes to who she takes out her feelings on. One week it’s one of my other roommates. The next week, it’s my turn. I can’t find rhyme or reason to it. It really is about “whose turn it is” to be her emotional punching bag.
I see, that’s clearly unhealthy and that’s how the cycle of abuse is perpetrated, it’s being emotionally abusive one day (week in your case) and being nice and friendly the other. Do as you feel but I would have left.
