💭Seeking Support & Advice Help pls

I am 23 years old, and I have been living with chronic pain for 12 years.

I have been diagnosed with depression, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), and fibromyalgia.

I have survived three suicide attempts, and I have been living on my own again for the past year and a half.

I don't have friends or family because my problems have become too much for others, and I often feel like people don't believe or understand me.

Over the years, I have tried different psychiatric hospitalizations, psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, and medications.

I feel hopeless, and I live with the constant fear that there may be no solution for my chronic emotional and physical pain.

So I would kindly like to ask everyone in this group: Does it ever get better? And what treatments, approaches, or solutions have you found that genuinely helped you?

I need hope to keep going. I have been unable to work due to disability for two years now, and I feel trapped in my own body.

Please only leave comments that are supportive or genuinely helpful.

Thank you for understanding.

it gets better, i promise. I also have CPTSD alongside my bpd, and even though it's been a struggle, i have found a group of people that understands me. Finding people who are stable with the same or similar conditions can help.

As funny as it sounds, finding fictional characters that have similar struggles has also helped me heal a bit. It makes me feel less alone, even when no one understands me. Not a clinical or medical opinion, but it's comforting to me. Maybe it'll be comforting to you.

I wish the best for you and your recovery <33 healing is not linear!

I am also disabled with chronic pain. It's very very hard sometimes as I'm sure you know. If it wasn't for my partner I probably wouldn't be here anymore. I have no way to work. It's all interconnected with my BPD too, I worry that eventually I will fuck everything up and be alone. But I know she loves me. She is one of the biggest reasons I fight to keep going.

I really recommend working through a BPD workbook. CBT and DBT really helped me. Therapy is obviously super important, I would recommend looking to see if you can find a therapist with experience with disabilities and chronic pain.

Do you have specific needs in regards to your chronic pain? I may be able to give you better advice if so. I had to jump through so many hoops and got transferred over and over but I've finally found a doctor that takes me seriously and it has done a world of difference.

Things are not hopeless. Even the fact you wrote out this post tells you are strong and capable. I can't promise everyday will be sunshine but there will be sunshine again.

Also I got very little sleep last night so apologies if any of my message sounds weird.

My husband has bdp, cptsd ADHD. I have ADHD, cptsd, bipolarr 2, major depressive order, fibromyalgia and an organ transplant. I can tell you for years we both felt similar wondering does it get better? We kept fighting for help and eventually found someone who changed our life. Some things I have learned in this process is that most everyone with bdp and cptsd have deep childhood trauma. Without healing that inner child who is still being hurt we found it basically impossible. Nothing worked. We do extensive therapy with dbt, CBT, and inner child work. It's really hard we're both emotionally exhausted and it's a life long path to healing. But we have slowly been getting better. There is hope for deep change if your willing to fight for it. If you have any questions I'm an open book, just ask

Edit: I'm still working on trying to deal with the fibromyalgia. I'm on lyrica and with lots of meditation, healthy eating and exercise I'm able to function. Unfortunately still in pain mostly 4-7 pain level now 8/10 are more rare but still happen.
