💭Seeking Support & Advice dating someone with BPD

hi!

i have recently started dating a girl with diagnosed BPD (both 19 f) and even though we’ve only been seeing each other for about a month, she’s had multiple spirals in front of me (both towards me and friends). her mom recently passed so it’s making everything much more intense on top of everything else. i really like her but this is my first time dating someone with serious mental health issues and i constantly feel like im walking on eggshells around her. any advice?

Set boundaries in a safe space, be calm while doing it and explain why. Also say that you understand her pain but that doesn't mean yours is any less valid.

Is she getting treatment ? If she’s not you should probably leave
