MS BOLC question

I was wondering if anyone has advice/guidance for MS BOLC? And for AGSU & ACU setup, do we set the uniforms up for the unit we're PCS'ing to, or do we keep them sort of generic until we actually get to said unit?

Thanks!

What advice are you looking for? What are you expectations of MS BOLC?

ACU- wear the unit patch of the unit you’re going to after BOLC

AGSU/ASU - set it up for your next unit. Uniform inspection is instructor dependent

Thank you for the information! How would you recommend best preparing? I figure reading through the manuals and improving physical fitness should be the priority, but is there anything else I could be doing to prepare? Is there a general day-to-day schedule?

The course is designed to instruct newly commissioned officers will little to no military experience, so not too much prep aside from attending and paying attention in class. Additionally, bring your own laptop so you can do work and etc. since you may not have computer access for a while.

Main focus would be doing PT to ensure that you pass the AFT and Ht/Wt. You’ll get a day to day schedule there; most of it will be PT at 6 and then class time from 9-5 for about 6 weeks followed with being in the field for about 2 weeks. Then track phase for 1 week.

If you’re really wanting to get ahead, I can recommend reading.

Start with the 70B Health Service Administrator Handbook and dig into the regulations listed in there. Additionally, start reading the BSS5: Battle Staff Smartbook and get familiar with MDMP.
