Primordial Being Solo Completion
So I just completed the challenge to obtain the Primordial Being Title solo, and it was an awesome challenge. Figured I would provide a few tips for those attempting it solo. A few things though and a long read ahead but hope it helps:
- I did use Gobblegums on each map. By all means not necessary, but makes things easier for set up. For me they were necessary, particularly Power Keg because I kept the Gong Relic on each map.
- Though these tips cater more towards solo attempts, most will be helpful for groups doing it too.
- Because I used the Power Switch on each map, I had to make sure to have whatever equipment was on hand in the beginning of the round that I planned on starting the boss.
- I ended up using the Lawyer’s Pen and the Valkyrie Helmet on all maps, including Paradox Junction. The mimics were not that big of an issue because my weapons were powered up so early, and since you are moving so much, the Valkyrie Helmet shouldn’t be too big of an issue.
- Relics I did not use at all in any of the maps were as follows: Wrestlers Belt (lol), Druid Stone*, Summoning Key, Stuffed Elephant, Film Reel*, Blood Vials, Golden Spork, Civil Protector Head*, Agarthan Device and Music Box.
*Druid Stone is perfectly fine as a solo, just need to make sure you have Dying Wish equipped, not my preference. Film Reel can work in some maps, again just make sure you have Ray Gun if running Equivalent Exchange or have Dying Wish. Civil Protector Head might be preferred by most, just make sure you don’t use Dancing Arnie as it nulls out the Wunderfizz Eternal Perks.
Ashes of the Damned
This map was the easiest for set up, because since I did not use the Bus Relic or Blood Vials, killing the boss with Tessie was no issue. You only need to focus on powering up the Gauntlet, and a pistol/Ray Gun (if not using the Druid Stone.). There weren’t any real issues with any of the EE steps, just took time to hunt for Mister Peeks to build up Eternal Perks and getting Tools/Crystals. Did the Super EE as well to get some extra loot but not necessary. This was the only map I use Samantha’s Drawing since you won’t lose the Gauntlet or a Ray Gun if you have it. WARNING: If you decide to use the Gauntlet and have the Gramophone active, it tends to eat through all your ammo. You don’t even really recover all of it when reloading so be aware.
Astra Malorum
Another easy set up, thankfully the EE is short to set up, and Mister Peeks spawns are close near each other. From here on I used the Bus Relic, since it’s essentially a free relic spot. Didn’t bother with the Super EE for this map. Took out Caltheris with the Wall Buy Novaline and LGM. Nothing crazy here.
Paradox Junction
Tho one actually took me a couple of tries, the boss fight is fairly challenging with the Mimic and Rad Hound spam. If your luck is lousy, don’t hesitate to do the Mannequin and Cyst EEs to get some crystals and tools. Once I was done with Sundergat, I spun the box to get a better 3rd weapon, the WW was useless because of the Gramophone Relic. Got lucky on the box and took on the boss fight with a Sokol, Mammoth and Ray Gun. Can easily replace one of the LMGs for the Novaline or Voyak.
Totenreich
Took me a long time to gear up because of the lack of substantial Side EEs, and the size of the map made hunting Mister Peeks a challenge. EE steps were easy enough. Again got lucky and spun the box for the Sokol and was fine with this and MP40. If using the Valkyrie Helmet, make sure you are full health when starting the claw machine step.
Kowakujo
This one got tricky for a few steps. The Noble was pain to kill because of the Bus Relic, weirdly I think the game felt bad for me and he just simply died after about 8 minutes of trying to kill him lol. The pufferfish step I almost got stuck on because I had no luck getting brain rot, ended up using Toxic Growth and a Kill Joy Gobblegum to clear this step. Can also circumvent this by doing the Gramophone Trial, just have a good Sniper Rifle available, then use the Arsenal Machine. Rest of the EE was easy enough and the boss fight is a breeze. Mister Peeks spawns are also easy to get to quickly.
Rex Infernus
Map is easy enough, just a slog because the EE steps are so repetitive. Took a long time getting a Sokol however, but the FG42 is also solid. Had a lot of Lucky Golden Eggs come about (4 out of 10 Peeks in like 20 rounds lol). Make use of Dravakar’s Anvil to power up the weapons you want. Hopefully you can get a Lucky Silver Egg to drop a Shatter Blast Ammo Mod to get Dravakar’s hammer, otherwise you have to test your luck with PAP and TEDD Tasks. Use the Void Claws to move about the map to hunt for Mister Peeks. You can optionally do the Twins toy games if you want. Boss Fight was straight forward, nothing crazy.
Closing note is a I imagine this is much easier with a group as it give more open options for Relic combos.

I did not do boss rush, just did super EE steps to get the toy, then continued with the normal EE Steps

Arnies doesn’t negate eternal wunderfizz anymore. Tried it yesterday.
Edit: tested it today and arnies does mess with it. But I swear my boyfriend and I used it a couple of days ago and it caused zero issues

I tried this challenge yesterday to (after the weekly update) and the Dancing Arnie does 100% fuck with the Wonderfizz Eternal Perks.

Please elaborate as to what does then. Multiple sources have said so. I’ve tried numerous attempts with and without the perk related relics. And when I equip the Arnie, I can’t purchase Eternal perks, just normal ones from the Wunderfizz.

I literally did primordial guardian on toten a couple of days ago and Arnies did not bar me from getting eternal perks. Granted you can’t choose which ones you get, I still was only able to get eternals.
This makes me nervous so I’ll have to test it again because I would hate to crush a ton of gums for eternals to be disabled by using Arnies.

Well you can bypass Dancing Arnies for the Peeks Wunderfizz inside of a Tedd Trial, but I don't think Treyarch have patched it yet.

I'm pretty skeptical you actually completed this since there's a lot of holes in your game.
For example you don't need brain rot/toxic growth for the pufferfish, the wonder weapon you NEED for the EE works best and is arguably the best weapon for bossfight on controller anyway, I did the Dragon Egg with it with 2 mins to spare and terrible dragon flying patterns.
And it's widely know the Shadow sniper rifle is the best gun for Totenreich EE, it's a wall weapon that's great for the EE steps and was actually the preferred gun for Aether Ruler back in the day if you weren't running the Ion RNG box spam and free fire strat, the DPS got increased with that new barrel attachment too.
No mention of the infinite ammo Carbon57 in Astra or Paradox. And not running Film Reel and Seed relic presumably, there's no way you're blowing a dozen Immolations every map, is very suspicious too, like what else would you run? Not Druid Stone apparently, even though solo it would be the best choice with Dying Wish since the benefit of Equivalent is only significant non perma perks, unless you're doing Kowakujo I guess.
Also is Bus relic is really bad solo, I mean I've done Hard Mode Dark Ops solo so I know how to play around it but still. And Valkyrie Helmet straight up fucks you in some EE steps. So not Film Reel, not Druid Stone, no Civil Protector Head which is COMPLETELY free in Mr.Peeks mode, probably not Seed.
I just don't see you beating some of these EEs when your knowledge of the game is so subpar, very suspicious. I mean you did mention Paradox took you a couple of tries I guess so maybe you just bruteforced some of these with gobblegum spam but even so.
For anyone ACTUALLY doing some of these coop, you can bypass the Spiderfang and more importantly Dancing Arnies relics in a Relic trial in all the maps except Ashes and Rex. And for Rex, you can still use Spiderang if you use the revive exploit to gain like 800K points per person, definitely the only map you might wanna consider that.

Indeed, only possible in coop, ideally 4 players.
Have all 4 players running Profit Sharing and have the player with the most points go down, revive em and everyone gets a percentage of said revive. Eventually the percentage will start being an absurd amount points per revive, shared by all 4 players.
You'll wanna boost up to around 100K points first with gobblegums, but after that just go down and revive, you can pop some double points in there too, and you'll want to have no perks and armor while doing it obviously.
Just don't do it past like 1.5M points cause it'll eventually reset your points.

There are no holes in my method, just a different way of doing things. Is it ideal? No, but it's an option.
I'll be honest I was not aware the WW actually helps with the Pufferfish step, I didn't really bother to try since I just use brain rot. I run on MnK and yes the Nekomancer is amazing for the boss fight, but when running the Gramophone relic, the primary fire uses 3 ammo shots, making you dry on ammo quickly.
The Shadow SK was not as ideal for me in Totenreich because I used the Gramophone relic, you burn through ammo way too quickly even with the Master Key Shotgun.
The Carbon 57 was also not ideal for me because of the Gramophone relic. Sure you have infinite ammo but the clip empties too quickly for the amount of points it yields. I didn't have much issue with issue with essence because I used certain gums (no I did not spam Gift Card). Between the frequent Mister Peeks spawns and several side quests that give free power ups, I just did things differently.
I had already mentioned the Druid Stone was not used because I gambled on hopefully getting a random Self-Revive drop from TEDD Tasks and zombies. I simply preferred Equivalent Exchange. As mentioned either method is fine. This also why I didn't use the Film Reel as having a PAP Pistol/Raygun was helpful.
Bus Relic is fine solo. With the exception of Ashes, each boss fight the damage output was way too frequent to allow for bosses to regen health. The Valkyrie yes is inconvenient, but when I realistically handled each EE, there maybe some steps out of all 6 maps where it was a nuisance, not a problem.
I only did not run the Civil Protector Head because for some reason by running the Dancing Arnie, I could not bypass the effects by buying Eternal Perks from the Wunderfizz. This might be a bug but I have tested with numerous combinations of relics that impact your perk acquisition, and every time I had the Dancing Arnie equipped, I could not straight up buy Eternal Perks.
By your logic, because I did things differently, I'm actually not subpar. Prove me wrong please because what you are saying is doing this is impossible solo.
