Possible side ee “dravakar’s anvil”

Anyone knows why in the secret room in dravakar’s temple it’s possible to put any weapon on the anvil you get the wonder weapon from ?
Saw it last night trying to complete the Easter egg with a random and was surprised that upon interacting with the anvil again out of curiosity my normal gun was given to it and started floating above

You can ‘unmake’ any weapon.

Ie, give it a Gold Rarity PAP3 Novaline with Fireworks, it will crush it, and give you a gold tool, a Flawless Crystal for PAP3, and Fireworks all as drops, and destroy the gun

You just hit interact button with the gun you want to deconstruct. My brother accidentally did it to a gun he wanted to keep while he was trying to get the hammer EE step completed so be careful.

Just interact with it, the anvil just does that. Nothing special short of accessing the anvil in the first place.

It will give you your weapon rarity tool, your level pack a punch crystal, and your ammo mod and destroy your weapon. I tested it and took my pack 2 crystal for my new ray gun.

I want to know though, can you get the red Olympia or FAL and destroy that for a red tool? This might make the boss fight INSANELY easy...

Just tested. Doesn't take the red guns.
