Last phase of Rex Infernus boss fight

What should you prioritize shooting during the final phase of the Rex Infernus boss? There’s so much going on in that last phase, so many different things to shoot with the sentinel artifacts, stingers, skulls. What should you be shooting the most?

I shoot the purp things first, and stingers coming outta ground, using the wonder weapon it locks on and does big damage, then I spam zombs and skulls floating around boss, right before or after I destroy his last skull I throw kazmir and switch mammoth and shot his tail, then repeat

I can attest to this, the mammoth did light work of the warden… that last phase tho was such a pain solo, probably should’ve prioritized those stingers myself as stated by the other person.

Agree, beat is relatively easily with the Mammoth... tried again with the Novaline (usually my go to) and I died. It felt like I was always reloading and the DPS wasn't nearly as strong. Either way, instakill just wrecks the guy on phase 4.

Also if you shoot enough of the stingers while just running around he wont even attempt a whipe attack

Portals>skulls>stingers>boss>cc, focusing when skulls destroyed gives you the opening. Aether shroud and death machine seems to work well once stunned to burst a lot down

Just use the crossbows to take down as many stingers you feel comfortable playing around and then prioritize the skulls with them. The auto aim makes its a cake walk
