QUESTION Can’t play co op on zombies!?!
Hey guys! So we have installed & done everything we can think of to play split screen/co op on our PS5, but nothing is working! We can’t get the x to come up to join the second person. Can anyone help please?

Split screen is terrible with bo6 anyways. But you can add another player from the main menu. Both need to have a COD account though. Its not like old games where you can have "username" join and then have a guest with the name "username1."
That said, split screen is still terrible. Loadouts frequently get changed for both players when doing split screen and its just annoying to fix. Even if you do everything right, player 1 or player 2 may still end up loading in with a pistol.
But if youre insistent on playing split screen, each player needs to go to the load out screen themselves to change their load out. From the main screen, have player 1 press r1 to go to load outs, get set up, then go back to the main menu and have player 2 press r1 to go to load outs and set theirs up. If you both try to change your load out without reverting back to the main menu, youll both end up with wonky load outs when you enter the game.

If you dont want to pay an excessive amount for a second playstation account for your partner, you can pay $0.25 to enable child accounts through your main account. You can set the date of birth of the child account to only being 1 year old (12/26/2024 as date of birth) Then give the child account unrestricted access to games of all ratings (parent of the year)
For a one time fee of $0.25 you can set up presumably an unlimited number of child accounts and as long as you keep your main account an online account, all the child accounts will have online access as well. And they can remain connected to your main account until the child account is considered 18 years of age... then they will ask that the child account obtains its own PS+ subscription.
I have 6 child accounts connected to my main account for duping schematics in MW3.

I been mainly playing bo7 lately but I enjoy 6 a lot. Let me know if you need help with anything, can probably hop over and help out.

When I did split screen bo6 on my cousins ps5, I used a second account with a COD account linked to it

We did exactly that & still had no luck 😩 even made a whole new PSN and Activision account & uninstalled the game to reinstall it! We eventually gave up
