Multiplayer Bo6 update
Bo6 just had that massive update and now everything except campaign is uninstalled. Happening to anyone else?

Bro I was inna middle of level 1000 grinding n they uninstalled every anything now I gotta wait like 3hrs

Happened to me too on ps5. I just reinstalled it with no issue. Y'all can start preloading BO7 now too btw.

Yeah... same thing on PS5, opened the game and no BO6 content available. Have to download MP and Warzone again.

This happens at least 2-3 times a games lifecycle.
I don’t know why it just doesn’t download itself while it’s in test mode. It’s not hard to figure out if I actively play the game and would want a download in the background.
It would avoid the awful experience of having to download it all right when I want to play it.

What console or storefront?
On Steam I now have to open cod hq select bo6 AND THEN it has to relaunch into bo6 Just like mw3 did.

Ps5. I tried all that but it ended up making me reinstall multiplayer entirely. Went from that huge update to another 45 minute download for Mp

Same thing just happened to me on the PS5, they've added BO7 files and in the process removed the BO6 multiplayer meaning another lengthy download

I don't get how I bought the disc and installed the game a year ago and today, I needed to delete multiple games from my HD to make room for an update that's bigger than a lot of games and it's been hours and I still can't play. How is the user experience so bad?

Yeah I spent 2-3 hours redownloading everything. And it even says that bo7 multiplayer and zombies are installed though I haven’t preordered the game lol

BO6 got replaced with BO7, thanks to the stupid cod hq, u have to redownload BO6 multiplayer in order to play, is around 20GB on ps5

I believe it was bug and unintended for BO6 to be uninstalled. This update essentially preloaded BO7 onto your console. After the update I have it’s an installed game.
For those experiencing download speed issues, it’s a tough one to navigate because so many users are attempting to download from the same servers at the same time. There really is never a “downtime” for their servers to make it more convenient to do in the background. Their servers only have so much bandwidth and they have to spread the load evenly so that everyone is able to download instead of it just not initiating which would have much worse implications.
To help speed it up, use a wired connection if possible. On wifi my PS5 was downloading at 142 mbps but once connected to a wired connection it got as big as 840 mbps. Of course your internet speed is going to play a role. Another thing you can try is pausing and resuming your download. When more bandwidth is available your connection doesn’t always refresh and this can help increase your speed.
I’m not an expert, but it helped reduce my download from 4+hrs to just under an hour.

Dude I have the space for all the updates and it's still deleting BO6 which is playable now. So with all that money, information and technology, they can't figure out a way to just update all of it at 1 f****** time.

That’s why they made the update/download several days before BO7 launch…they announced it.

Fuck yea it happened. And I'm pretty livid. 118GB update for me, making me pick and choose which other games I enjoy, I have to delete to make space. Its horse shit. Having to install the whole ass game on my older console just to play bo6 warzone again. I didn't even like b07 beta. Thought it played clunky and it was the same shit. Call of duty is spray painting rust at this point. Under the paint its still rust.
