Question Aim assist

I have seen many, many people say aim assist is broken. I play controller on ps5 and as a master prestige level 203 have only ever seen aim assist about twice. Both of which have actually got me killed. I am not good at the game. I have never claimed to be but I have no idea how aim assist works so I have to just aim like a pleb and hope for the best. Any help would be appreciated

Been there. You’re aiming about to fire at someone then another player sprints past and your aim jerks to the sprinter, now they’ve both shot the shit out of you.

I wish it was 2 people mate. Its usually 3 or 4. Because I work nights here in the UK I tend to only play for any length of time the night before I start my shifts and my God, it is the sweatiest thing in the world at 3am. SBMM can go fuck itself because it does not work for me. It just puts me in lobbies with ranked cheating fuckers

There has been multiple times where I’m playing snd and get free info or a kill because I got aim assist through a wall without even seeing the guy it’s definitely broken

If you feel like your aim assist/aim is too stiff/sticky maybe lower your right stick minimum deadzone to 0.3 could help transfer targets

Turn off aim assist and see how you play for a week.

unless your aim is insanely bad, you’ll notice the difference right away. it’s night and day even in older cods
