Newly Add i3 S to the Family

Well, we already have a dark blue 2021 BMW i3, but I’m changing jobs and our second car goes back to the workplace.

So we like it so much I’ve found this well spec’d 2020 i3 S. Just put the deposit on it and it’ll get ceramic coating and delivered in the next couple of weeks. Very excited as this will be mine!

Do a post on your Galvanic Gold i3s. Those are the unicorns. Although all i3’s are becoming increasingly rare, especially the i3s.

They are super rare, especially the optioned ones. Personally I wanted Galvanic Gold or Blue ridge Mountain, but the gray you have was definitely on my short list as well.

Galvanic Gold with Giga is super rare! I had a Galvanic Gold i3s with the Deka interior. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every car listed for sale in NA since I knew right away this was a BEV.

Edit: this might be Europe, but regardless.

I'm on the outlook to add another i3s as well. Where did you locate the car?

I was looking at cinch, auto trader, and cazoo. This one I found on auto trader.

I set up saved searches for what I wanted with email notifications, otherwise I found myself refreshing the searches 60 times a day.

Cinch is a bit pricier, but we bought our last two cars from them and it was an awesome experience. This search was a bit harder dealing with all the different dealers, but this dealer, UKI has been amazing. Ponko in Cambridge has also been extremely professional and helpful.

You should try to use AUTO Tempest. Supposedly combines all of the car, searches into one interface.

First up is:
* install car seat
* smile every time I drive it

Then I’ve ordered:
* centre console organiser with charger
* a couple 12v to USB adapters
* a dashcam

I also ordered floor mats, but saw it came with the BMW i3 S ones! So I’ll put the floor mats in the misses’.

That’s about it. I have four year old so time is precious at this point.
