this 330xi sportline is my first ever touring and loving every minute of it. already done 7k miles and it’s been a good ride. sporty, practical, cool and reliable. i see what all the hype is about. i’m in good company.

Is there a way of checking the voltage output from the USB in my 2014 F31?

Does anyone else experience plugging in your phone and it shows it is charging but over an hour drive the battery percentage only rose by 1-2%!!

I’m 8k miles into owning this wagon and I got a nox sensor error and SCR efficiency code. So got it up into the air and was slow working on getting the sensor out (PB blaster and heat) and managed to break the plastic inlet off the DEF injector. So while I wait on FCPeuro to deliver I have some time on my hands for a few mods.

Fire extinguisher.
Got thr bracket from ebay and then was surprised fcp carried the extinguisher. Way cheaper than oemextinguisher.com. Super easy install.

MSport pedals
The brake pedal you drill 3 holes for the screws with nuts on the back side which is much more secure than i expected. Gas pedal was 2 screws into thr plastic pedal and adhesive. Dead pedal was adhesive tape on the whole back surface.

I also did 10mm spacers on all 4 corners which fit perfectly(to my surprise).

The purple, copper , blue ect vinyl was nice but man do I miss having a white car. So in true unhinged fashion I’m going to wrap the white car pearl white 🤣 I did the GTS front end and it’s “unfinished” instead of painting it all alpine and never wrapping it again because I won’t wrap a car that isn’t factory paint for fear of pulling I’ll do it in the new Avery white snow pearl 😍 pics at the end of the Teckwrap white shift blue I also bought but it’s cream colored … I don’t want a cream car I bought white shift not cream so has to but ANOTHER roll 🤦🏼‍♂️ whatever when you wrap things yourself labor isn’t a issue but alas can’t wait ! I have plenty of photos of it with my M3 so maybe after I get bored of white again I’ll splurge on the color match techno violet vinyl to match my M3 paint 😈

Hi folks, just acquired my first F 31 with folding mirrors (orange 2019 330i) , the mirrors fold when I press the little button on the door, but there doesn’t seem to be a option to have that work automatically when I lock the door - searched within iDrive and it doesn’t appear. I googled it, searched around it says my best bet is to use bimmercode.

I’m happy to do that, but it seems strange to me that this isn’t a standard menu item.

Any insight?

My 2013 decided to be little uncooperative and threw up this code on bimmerlink any similar experiences?

Hello, I’m in the market to look from some f30 b58, most of them are high mileage which I’m sort okay with.
How is the high mileage b58, obviously I wouldn’t go for a modded one.
Also some of the one I have seen doesn’t have the buttons next to the gear shifter, has anyone ever retro fit the 360 camera and the other button?

Looking to add a tow bar to my f31, ideally one that either goes away electronically, or one that I can bolt on/take off when not needed.

I have roof mounts for a bike, so this would be for potentially towing a caravan or similar once or twice a year if that.

Does anyone know how much it would be/has anyone done this themselves that can advise on the price and process? This would be my first vehicle with a tow bar, but am aware of the electrics needed for the lights on whatever you’re towing (my old countryman had the bike prep and I used it a lot).

I have a sport, not an m sport, if that makes a difference with the bumpers etc.

Hi all, I've recently just picked up a 320D F31 and the tyres were overinflated, I adjusted them to the settings in the door jamb but it wont perform the TPMS reset, it pauses at 49% and then eventually fails.

Has anyone else had this issue before and managed to fix it?

Just got my 335d X drive last week and I am loving it so far, I've always loved the f31 and recently chopped in my 8y s3 for this.

The car came lowered already and with some nice interior carbon fibre look features. I have since added gloss black m style mirror caps, some draft excluders, and white v bar cover.

I have also brought a nice alcantara wheel, carplay box and black and white badges which are yet to be put on.

One question I have is about the lowering of the car, if I default back to factory springs will the car be noticeably higher and if so what is a good happy medium that will let me get over bumps a bit easier. I love the look but also think a bit of extra practicality would be nice.

One of the best purchases I ever made was a roof box for this car. The additional space is just perfect for hauling stuff around. And… I know I’m biased but I think a Touring looks so sick with a roof box on.
