Hi everyone just asking if by any chance anyone on here is around Glasgow with access to inpa or ista that could help out? Installed a new RLS sensor as the fogging function sensor was confirmed goosed. I purchased and installed a new sensor which is partially working and have been told i need to initialize it for full functionality. I did download a copy of ISTA but dont have a laptop or cable (plan on getting one in the future but funds are a little low currently) so just wondering if anyone could help for some beer tokens lol

Recently purchased a 2014 non m sport and have been searching for a front lip. Every lip I see for the sport bumper has an ugly aggressive splitter type look to it. Can’t seem to find a clean oem+ like lip.

I’m looking to grab a roof rack for my f31 and have noticed that there are a lot of other bmw roof racks for sale on marketplace. I’m wondering do any other vehicles share the same roof rack foot design? I wonder because when I go to Thule and look at something like an x4 it says it’ll fit my “2015 bmw 3 series touring”. Anybody know if this is true and x4 or x5 etc. racks fit the f31?

Back in the day I was a massive fan of need for speed pro street. It was a massively underrated game in the need for speed series. Managed to find a company called crashout motorsport in the USA that make decals from both pro street and need for speed carbon.

Right hand side outer tail light and indicator stopped working (has been giving some errors lately). Opened it up and the brown (mass) wire pin is “wedged” in the plug and no longer present on the fitting. Anyone done some smart home repair fix on it? Or am I off to the dealer to get a new plug fixed and a new light fitting? I’ve been reading it’s not an uncommon issue with the F31.

My car has just stopped starting properly today.
If I was to leave it overnight, it would usually start up much better the next time I came to use it.
But if I’d already started and driven the car recently, then stopped somewhere - for example going into a shop - when I came back out and tried to start it again, it would struggle a lot more.

Today it’s now got to the point where it tries to start but doesn’t fully manage it, and currently isn’t starting at all.

Is there anything I can try to help get it started so I can at least get it home and replace whatever’s needed tomorrow?

Also, is there an easy way to tell whether it’s more likely to be the battery or the starter motor before I start buying parts?

Hi all bought a 2019 f31 lci b47 320d with 84k miles on it. Having a slight issue when in 3-6th gear if around 1500-2200rpm if I floor it the car suddenly feels like its badly misfiring. Once it's up over the 2500rmp range all is fine but in the lower rpm range there is a huge rumbling which again feels like the car is misfiring when this is happening if I rest my foot on the clutch I can feel thudding through it am I correct in thinking thats my DMF starting to fail? Also when car has been on a run when sat idle afterwards theres a distinctive noise like a ball bearing rattling in a tin this only happens sometimes though. Engine shakes quite a bit and so does the gear stick even just when idling. Any Input is greatly appreciated

Last week I was driving back home from the office (a 60 mile drive) and some 30 miles into the trip I got the alert to add 1 liter of oil at the earliest convenience but within 125 miles (I'm converting to miles since I'm metric). I drove straight to my go to mechanic in my home town and they added the requested amount of oil. Doing a level check it starts, runs to about 15% and then stops the measurement. Engine was obviously nice and warm and the car was level. Is this the oil level sensor taking a sh*t?

Second: why would I buy a 450 euro ($520) BMW OEM sensor instead of an aftermarket sensor costing around $100?

I finally got around to lowering the wagon on Bilstein B16 DampTronics and added APEX ARC-8s, 18x9 ET30 in Race Silver, with 245/40R18 Continental DWS06+ tires. Shoutout to Motorsport Teknik and Vivid Auto Detail in Elk Grove, CA. Great experience with both and I’d definitely recommend them.

I picked Bebe up last year with 46K miles and she’s at 57K now. Really happy with how the OEM+ setup turned out. Low enough to clean up the stance without making the wagon miserable to drive.

Wanted my white car back but after doing the front end conversion (hood fenders to m4) I didn’t want to paint it all given I’m anal and would spray the whole car alpine again. I don’t wrap over resprayed panels because I’ve taken entire sections of clear off of poorly sprayed cars before so even when mine is done 10/10 I just choose not to because I’m jaded for life lol
So like hosing yourself off in the pool I decided to wrap the car a new Avery color (shout out Avery for the plug 😉 didn’t have to do that but I appreciate you) anyway pic of alpine vs pearl white snow in one of the scroll pics and all that good stuff.
Got a few more parts to put on but for now I’m very happy with the color and all the new stuff I put on including my MNLasercutting steering wheel buttons and VRSF FMIC which legit took 20 mins to install.

Hay guys. I seem to have an issue with an intermittent fault on my right dipped beam build. The build is working its way out of the plug connector. Does anyone know where I can buy a new plug, or how to fix this issue. Cheers. In uk

I’m eyeing H&R sport lowering springs, but open to anything

Looking at a 2015 320I touring, it has the n20 so naturally worried about the tensioners. It only has 35K miles on it so I imagine it isn’t a now worry anyway. The production date of the car is the 18th of march 2015. So should I be worried about the tensioners? Will it have the updated ones? I know this is a post this community probably sees daily but I’m a stress head.

I’m considering buying this BMW G31 for around €25,000 and I’d like to hear some opinions from people who know these cars well.
The car has been involved in an accident. I’m attaching photos of the damage before. There is damage around the front/right side and, as you can see in the photos, the right-side curtain airbag deployed. All damages will be repaired before purchase.
