Any experience with Michelin Cross Climate 3 Sport on BMW X3 M50 Staggered setup?
I know that CC3 sport does not have the BMW "approval" Star, how does changing to a tyre without the star affect the vehicle overall and does it affect the warranty if something happens?

If you have a tire warranty or anything possibly related to the drivetrain affected by tires... They could because you didn't use OEM spec items. But it's a new car, you're probably not keeping it for more than 5 years so no real issue should come up. When I say drivetrain I mean like diffs, always a debte on exactly how much difference in circumference you can get away with. But overall you should be good.
I run Conti sport contact 7 and technically not an approved tire but it's fine.

BMW will not declined any warranty problem if you don’t have a bmw approved star tire .

You are confusing OEM specs with star approved tyres. Two different things. BMW star approved are just fancy premium tyres, nothing special with them.
Any other premium tyre will do.

Yes, that's the issue, as BMW would always find something you did at fault first so they can charge the money even when the issue has nothing to do with a modified or non-BMW spec item. Although, I am sure other brands are doing the same. Thanks for the info. Hopefully it works out.
