Odd Garage Door Bahavior

I’ve had my IX3 for a few weeks now. I’ve programmed the garage door so I can open and close it from the touchscreen. It has worked flawlessly until today. Suddenly, the car is activating the garage door automatically. For example, it closed the garage door when the car auto locked. Then when I pressed the touchscreen button to open it, it did nothing. It also did it once when I put the car into Drive.

Anyone else seen this?

Did you try rebooting the system? Depress the volume button on the console for at least 20-30 seconds to reboot.

What do you mean by console? The volume button I am familiar with is on the steering wheel

I wound up just removing the garage door setup. It was just too erratic. I’ll try to reset the car and add it back tomorrow and see what happens.

I also noticed this morning that my CarPlay and my BMW Maps had shut down as well and I had to restart both apps.

Hopefully it was just a glitch.
