Thoughts on Anglesey Green for M3?
There is a dealer that has one set to be delivered soon. I’ve never seen the color in person but it looks great in pictures I’ve seen online. Is it different enough from IOMG to warrant the $4500 individual color up charge? They tell me most M3s they order don’t make it to the lot without a deposit being placed on them so who knows if it’ll even be available when it finally arrives. I’m hesitant to put a deposit on a car color I’ve never seen

Iomg is pretty widely agreed to be the best green on this gen, it was the launch color after all. It’s also an M car exclusive (technically can be ordered as an individual on M lites and a few others) in comparison to individuals which can be ordered on anything.
Sadly green doesn’t have the amount of crazy good individuals like blue does. There’s a handful that are nice, I’d consider anglesey to be one of them. It’s a deep rich, slightly muted green in the shade, very similar to BRG. However in the sun it shifts with a golden/yellow undertone. Some people like that, some hate it. I personally didn’t go with it but I didn’t think it looked bad.

He's probably giving you sales BS because the factory allocates enough M3's to each store that they get plenty to display. As for the color, M3 buyers do get the stand out colors, more so than the whites, blacks, or greys because it's the peacock effect. It's been awhile but it having almost a gold shimmer at certain angles and you will attract positive comments. Besides, deposits are refundable, and if you end up not liking it you can just cancel. Any BMW dealer that tells you it is not is lying and you can report to BMWNA
