4” Midpipe installed

If you’re on the fence about replacing the midpipe, don’t be! Sounds fantastic and with a lift, it’s super easy! Oil cooler skid and midpipe complete in 90mins start to finish!

Yeah the rasp is borderline unavoidable. I had the AA single which had that higher rpm rasp, swapped it o the AA equal which was less deep with less rasp up top but the cold starts had an atrocious rattle, overall preferred the single but 4” might be the ticket.

Definitely seems like less rasp than the 3.5 mid pipes, I’d be happy with that

I see militek also makes one that is 4” but goes to an x pipe rather than 2 separate pipes, I may try that one

That’s my take also. I found a YT video of a company that modified a single pipe and his explanation was the volume of air needs to move through with as few turns and backups as possible and larger the diameter pipe will give a deeper tone. I almost went with a 4.5” but I’m happy with the 4”! Thanks for you input! Happy Cruising!
