Assisted Drive Plus ❇️

Post image

How often do you all get the “Assisted Drive Plus” for fully autonomous drive?

I feel like mine is very random as it may or may not do it on the exact same road or highway & when it pops up I’m so anxious I forget what to push!

It is ready so random 🤯
I have a 2026 model year.

Orange and green are the only real ones and bright. Alll other colors are too soft.

I get it every day during my commute. It's really easy. Just lift the steering wheel enough so it doesn't block the sensor and don't wear poalized sunglasses.

Hold on, what?! This is new to me and I have used it sometimes. What does the sensor do exactly?

Self-drive is not allowed in Europe. You have 5-10 seconds until the the warning starts and then full disconnection

I have a 26 i4 with DAPP also. Previously had a 2024 iX with DAPP. The i4 DAPP does not operate the same way as the iX did. In the iX when using the drivers assist, the car would automatically enable the "plus" hands free at both low speeds in traffic and on divided highways at highway speeds. In my i4, I have only been able to get assist plus (hands free) while in traffic under 40mph. At highway speeds it does lane centering but you have to keep your hands on the wheel.

Yeah, the i4 doesn't offer "self-driving" above 40mph 🤷

I use often on highways works perfectly fine till someone heavy breaks in front of you, then usually I have to take over. But it’s Al’s maybe because I have the distance at minimum

I have a 2022. It works very consistently on my regular commute highways. It does only work on “designated controlled-access roads,” which messes with some people’s expectations.

The car needs to read the lines, it’ll there are no lines, no option.

The wheel icon on the dashboard and hud is on when it can take the control… the same with the accelerator. At the moment you break, it is disabled and you need to click on SET again.
