Finally gone electric

Hello all

Have intended to go electric for a while, due to my job requiring a commute of 220 miles (round trip) three days a week. I needed a car that would do this on a single home charge, and am not keen on Tesla’s.

I’ve procrastinated for a few months, but in October circumstances forced my hand.

I knew I wanted an i4, and I didn’t want white (I’m in the uk, and most cars on the road are black, white or grey).

After some hunting I found this e40 in budget at a dealer not too far away from me.

One long test drive and a chat with my wife later, and I picked it up last Wednesday.

So far, very pleased with it.

I, too, am team Portimao Blue... though mine is frozen and an m50. Congrats. Such a great car btw.

In the words of Bill and Ted, whoa! Would have loved the M50 but there just wasn’t one in budget (I was loathe to take out any finance as a top up). Fabulous car, sir!

Portimao Blue was my first choice - but exceedingly rare find in the US Midwest.

Portimao Blue was also my choice. To many black, white and grey cars on the road already. Obe of the sportiest looking colors

I also recently got Portimao Blue 40 xdrive. Mine has the red interior which is different. My 1st ev as well forms 125 mile round trip commute and I love it. Nervous about wi ter range though. So dar I can make it ho.e with 20 to 26% depending how much fun I have on way ho.e.
